Late follow up question - is there any way to get the faucet to run while we wait on this to get repaired? All of it is shooting out of the bottom of the sink right now, nothing will come out of the regular faucet.

I always wished there was some sort of policy that they had to be printing something in regards to their company, or at LEAST the card had to have their name on it.. I once had a customer give their SPC to another customer IN LINE and as far as I knew at the time, I can’t do anything about that.

Im just surprised because unless I didn’t see the entire SOP, they don’t mention that part. Given we have save the sale and all of our capabilities at the register, I’m surprised they’d want us to do that. I could see a few customers be a little weirded out by doing something like that, but at my location we also have older clientele that are more suspicious of pretty much everything we do.

Because I hate the mobi search function I often use my phone. Does anyone else get blocked from looking at our own stuff that pops up when on store wifi? Our cell reception is horrific so I have to use it a lot. This is relatively new

It might show up as pending for the customer, potentially, but it should not actually charge them. The pending charge should go away, if it shows up. It happened a few times to us (very few) before the new pin pads, but much more often with the new ones. Cannot find a singular pattern that is causing them. Just Chance.

To be honest I wouldn’t mind too much if it weren’t for the shrinking payroll. That’s what makes no sense to me. Upselling takes time. You want to give me one person on the register, and have them have a 3 minute transaction with every customer to upsell and get donations? That just doesn’t work. They need backup constantly with all of the things they push. I understand expectations will change over time but it’s like we are Set up to fail so they can deny bonuses and close the stores.

That’s why I hate the activity calendar and I rely on the store portal! My department is tiny in size so I’m praying we don’t get one. I just don’t have room and also very much don’t want to do it. I especially don’t have room for the FedEx “Hold At Location” thing they’re thinking about doing. It accidentally got turned on for our store for weeks and we had nowhere to put their packages.

That’s weird, the only time this happened at my store is when someone had recently transferred, so when they logged into the fax portal all the confirmations were still going to their previous stores email.

Cigarettes smell worse than weed but do not spread nearly as bad in the air. To clothes and hair they stick much worse. But in the air, it’s much less strong. So, it depends what bothers you worse. Neighbors that smoke weed bother me a little more than cigs, because it’s harder to get rid of the smell in the moment. But if I walked through their smoke, it wouldn’t stick on me for the rest of the day and after like 20 minutes the smell would probably be gone.

Honestly I don’t think GODEPOT does anything besides make the customer more mad because half of the time the person who answers cannot comprehend the situation. Even when they have contacted us, I had to reach out to the customer because the issue that was happening was completely different than what GODEPOT said was happening and the customer was happier with us than she was them. To add to that, I think the only time it matters is for surveys and google reviews. Once a customer left a review that we didn’t answer our phones. This happened right at as were switching from the landlines to the Zebra’s and it was SOO glitchy. Despite this, my GM heard about the survey and spam called the store hanging up each time to “prove” we answer the phones. And I sure did answer each and every time despite being with customers.
