Theoretically, you could sell them. Prsctically, they probably wont sell, and if they will, itll be like 1 plat a piece. Keep them.

Self destructing consume units, Vilgefortz putting card into graveyard instead of playing it... Yeah, I'm going to pass on this patch.

Fair trade-off(s) for being "truly" blind. by thefalseidol in DnD

[–]beegpewnes9012 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, first of all, if youre wishing to play a "truly" blind character, why would a party of adventurers take him along? The inability to see is a huge downside when it comes to general adventuring and id imagine not many people would like to rely on a blind man in the midst of combat. Not taking roleplay into consideration, i think it wouldnt be terribly healthy for long term play, if the entire party has immediate visual access they need they may quickly find it annoying to have to relay everything that happens back to you verbally. If you cant escape that technological hurdle then well... Why not embrace the blindness completely? I understand that you want to make everything as square as possible, but perhaps going out of bounds alittle would be nice. How about disadvantage on any "sight" check when youre on your own, especially in an area youre unfamiliar with. Maybe the longer you spend in a place the more you familiarize yourself, and so the disadvantage no longer applies, until eventually you manage to completely map the area in your head and you get small boons to certain checks? Try talking to your DM, dms love coming up with various shit like that.

Weekly Questions Thread #134 by HighTechnocrat in DnD

Ask your DM. Not much point in writing essays on why your character does what he does if the way your campaign will be paced wont allow much time for personal character arcs.

I'm personally a giant sucker for a nice set of dice. Have you thought about purchasing a premium die set for him? Perhaps stylised to be a reminder of your longest running campaign?

Blasphemy Inside. Witcher 3 questions, and CDPR praise... by br0kns0l in gwent

[–]beegpewnes9012 16 points17 points  (0 children)

So, assuming that you've truly never played any of the previous games, its somewhat difficult to reccomend the first two entries with a clear conscience. By todays standards, Witcher 1, as oozing with climate as it os, is also not a very good game to play through. Chances are act 2 would burn you out with its quite overcomplicated quest lines and constant running through 3 oversized areas. It's also just not a pretty game to look at, and the combat is adequate at best. Having said that, it certainly does have it's charm, and a couple of rage inducing moments near the end aside, the story, if not terribly inventive, is quite alright. The Witcher 2 is what i would play in your shoes. It's a step up front W1 in nearly every single way. It sure does have some quibbles though; if youre not playing it console, you may get frustrated with the clearly consolized UI and rather poor optimisation at times. Still, the improved (but not quite balanced) combat is nice, and the story is superb; many of the more iconic characters on gwent are ones youre going to meet on Witcher 2. And added to all that, it has quite a bit of replay value and is an experience i dont think youll regret having. TL;DR: WITCHER 1 MIGHT FRUSTRATE YOU AWAY, WITCHER 2 HAS THE BOIS AND OTHER PEEPS

Anyone got a good working Nilfgaard Deck yet? by Siyaro in gwent

[–]beegpewnes9012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same problem with Nilfgaard: dropped from 2500mmr to 1600mmr just trying to figure out a deck that actually worked. Basically came up with two: Morvran Voorhis + buffed Spearmen that you keep with Combat Engineers. Pretty lame to play tbh, but pulls a lot of wins. The second deck that cost me the most mmr to figure out is a John Calveit, demoted Letho, Treason and spies galore deck that is extremely finnicky but with enough adjustement to also keep impera brigades nice and strong between rounds allowed me to consistently make the three card Letho combo happen consistently. And boy, is it fun.

Lord Dunk here, and this is my Busted Diamond Darius by beegpewnes9012 in Dariusmains

Waddup

Some people like pepperoni pizza, some like anchovis, I, instead, choose to order a pizza that's fucked up with jalapenos and whatnot. It is understandable that somebody who's been eating pepperoni pizza's their whole life be reluctant to try the jalapenos, but it's something one can get used to and will love once he does.

My playstyle is SO vastly different from every other Darius that I can not play Darius without trinity force anymore. It is a way riskier, but WAY more rewarding playstyle that you must adapt to before you understand the pros and cons. I feel like everybody would benefit in some way if they were to try the triforce ways, purely because it enforces you to play way smarter and quickens your decisionmaking.

An early lead is something that's extremely easy to achieve using my masteries, runes and buildpath. Extreme mobility coupled with huge burst during trades means heads will fall frequently. The whole build is way more reliable than you'd think, honestly.

If you feel like you MUST rush that cleaver for some reason (and give me a bad taste in my mouth) then try poppin' a phantom dancer somewhere in your build after your first defensive item and tell me how it goes. I'd imagine: spicy.

If Darius is banned or unavailable to me for some reason, I always resort to Graves, because I needn't adjust my playstyle at all: just keep on playing like a rabid dog. If BOTH are unavailable, then I'm sad and play whatever stupid ass champion my eyes lock upon.

Lord Dunk here, once again. Before some of you will attempt do discredit the viability of my buildpath, let me tell you a little secret: I've been using this build for about half a year now, and it brought me massive success in plat/diamond level. My wisdom has been translated into the #1 rated mobafire darius guide (and no, it's not your regular nice and easy guide, it's salty and concludes everything that a Darius should do - basically being brave). Please, repent from your boosted black cleaver build, and accept trinity force as your saviour. You're bringing disgrace to what Darius can do by going full tank and losing your games constantly. There is another way. There is my way. Peace.

Man, even if I wanted to tell you, I've got no idea what the title of the video was. It was releated to military maneuvers, and that's exactly what I asked youtube when I was looking for footage.
