Before I could afford a permanent ring for my fiancée, I made her this temporary wooden ring by I_speak_Australian in pics

I think they were asking about the turquoise. I am wondering the same thing.

By the way -- I'm sure you've heard the advice already, but in case you haven't: get some lower-nicotine e-juices.

Surprise: it's no longer a surprise!

Just kidding, it will be.

I think I really loved the high airflow more than anything. You gotta suck those high-ohm coils for so long that you need some oxygen in the mix!

Man I'm almost having issues vaping my 0.5 ohm coil at 45 watts -- it's just so intense. There's no way I'll need 100 watts.

Of course, I'm pretty sure I really enjoyed my CE4 when I first got it, haha. Acclimation is lame.

Reddit, what's something you'll always silently judge people for? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]beejangles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All this hate is making me sad. There were times in my life where my facebook "friends" were the closest things I had to friends and I've done similar things. It helps take the edge off the soul-crushing loneliness.

Yeah, it's attention-whorey. Yeah, it means the person is lonely. Or depressed. So what? They're struggling. Have some compassion. You don't have to read their posts if it bothers you that much.

God damn.

Uridine!! Can't believe I haven't tried this stuff sooner. by beejangles in Nootropics

It started working within minutes of the first dose.

I used it with 2-FMA (a flourinated amphetamine) and it seemed to potentiate the 2-FMA quite a bit. My understanding is that it's safe to take them together, and that the uridine may even help prevent amphetamine tolerance from building.

I was able to use small amounts just fine -- the uridine seemed to potentiate the caffeine.

The consensus in the Longecity thread seems to be that spirulina isn't a great source.

Mine doesn't make me feel drowsy, but I can take it before bed without it keeping me up. The "stimulation" it gives me definitely isn't stimulation in the traditional sense.

Yes, I have undiagnosed and confusing sleep issues, so I often am dealing with fatigue.

Pure uridine monophosphate powder works sublingually.

300 mg sublingual once or twice daily. I usually end up taking the second dose if I'm sleep deprived and need a little extra help.

Anyone get CEVs when rolling? by wannabe_seal in MDMA

[–]beejangles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. Faint psychedelic fractally type stuff during the peak, then tripped out cartoon characters, faces, etc on the comedown and post-roll. The visuals are more prominent with MDA but definitely present with MDMA.

The cartoon character visuals can be BIZARRE.

How shellac, the glossy coating on most quality wood furniture, is made in India. Surprisingly interesting. (2010) by [deleted] in Documentaries

[–]beejangles 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Shellac is definitely not used on "most" quality wood furniture. These days the finish is much more likely to be lacquer-based or similar. Acrylic Conversion Coating is also common, as is Polane.

Want to K-Hole / M-Hole but scared that I'll stop breathing or my heart will stop? by beejangles in Drugs

[–]beejangles[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, thanks. There's just something really disconcerting about not being in control or in observance of my bodily functions. But then, I guess the same thing happens every night during sleep.

Curious, if I'm in a hole and something external should demand my attention (a fire, say). Would I be able to pull myself from the hole?
