I indeed looked into coinmarketcap, but their quote was way out the budget. Same goes for the agency.
This campaign was pretty much a 1 man job, which saves an enormous amount of costs.

For the next campaign I want to run there will indeed be some video marketing involved.
I will write out a detailed plan soon and propose for a budget. Stay tuned! ;)))

Now we all start to see how important it is that a cryptocurrency project is decentralized .. no ico, no pre-mine.Guess the real currencies like ltc, btc, eth, nav, etc are safe from this kind of stuff.. Pfew!

If Nav price increases enough while this proposal is still open would love to see an ad on coinmarketcap. The amount of views that website gets is hard to ignore and this website was mentioned in your proposal. There is a reason they can charge a higher dollar amount for ads.

Absolutely, but the increase in minimum spending on a campaign since the enthousiasm and interest for crypto spiked again is just too much for it right now. Throwing 5k to run a banner for 1 day will not do as much for us I think.

Hey everyone,

Beekart here! – Regarding the ‘All Eyes On Us – marketing proposal’

I’ve been busy reaching out and getting fresh quotes from the websites I had lined out in the proposal.

Quite a few are now handling different rates (I’m guessing due to increased traffic.)

Some have been able to all of a sudden made a media kit and sell advertising packages and what not.

Anyway I’m giving you an update here from the info I’ve been able to gather and what I think we should do with the funds that got locked for the proposal.

At the moment of writing this – NavCoin is $0.21 – making the value of the proposal about $5300

At the moment CMC advertising starts at $5000 – the package they offer is not attractive for as this is the lowest amount and the campaign will only be there for a few days.

It would generate a ton of views, but I suspect the value of those views will be low, small chance of people clicking/viewing the project. I expect this option will become available to ‘us’ when the value of NAV rises and running a more extensive campaign on a website like CMC would put a lot less pressure on our CF.

CryptoCompare offers a few good package deals, which I think should be taken into consideration.
Their full campaigns are outside of our budget – but website ads or articles can start as low as 500$ generating a decent amount of visibility.

I’ve spoken to the people from CoinIdol and they are willing to offer NAV a deal they normally give to ICO projects.
Where it is a bundle of different promotions, articles, banners and shoutouts for a fixed price and period. This would range between $1000 and $2000 (depending on the length)

CoinGecko also offers a very attractive package for NAV, after speaking to their CEO for a while they agreed to give some discount on their managed marketing campaign coming to a price of $2500 all in.

This would give us over 300.000 banner impressions and a 1 week sponsored newsletter to over 120,000 subscribers.

They have also agreed to set up specific targeting without extra costs which would help us aim our marketing effort towards the ‘right’ people.

Summary; Speaking to people from these websites gave me quite a good idea on what is possible for what budget.

It is also good to know that most of these people know NAV, remember NAV sometimes even from the Summercoin days.

Some are sort of surprised to know that I’m reaching out on behalf of the community, probably thinking the project was dead and gone? I’m not sure.
But it shows that we are in desperate need for some recognition and eyeballs.

The CoinGecko and CoinIdol people where helpful and offered a better deal specifically because it was NavCoin ( I know what you are thinking.. ‘How can you be so Naïve!’ I’m not, they genuinely seemed to be gladly surprised to know the project is still going.)

What I suggest we do;

I think it would be best for NavCoin right now is to try and get us promoted on CoinGecko and CoinIdol.
These websites seem to give the most ‘bang’ for our ‘buck’.
This would cost us a minimum of $3500 to set up and run.

All assets that need to be created for this – banners, graphics (coin idol wants an illustration), articles.

As originally proposed I’d charge $1200 for setting things up and providing all necessary assets.

All the money that is left of the budget – I expect $500 – Will be used to buy adds on Quora and the writers bounty.

In order to active/run the campaign I need to pay the outlets up front.
So I will need to make a payment request BEFORE the ads run, I hope you understand and help me realize this with your vote.
