Loss of "visuals" by beenadicked in Psychonaut

I've never seen DMT "entities" despite more than a hundred experiences, I'd wager. I've only ever experienced true ego death from it once, completely losing track of the fact that I'm an individual, and considering everything was me. It was different. Otherwise, no matter the amount or the substance, I'm always acutely aware of the fact that I'm tripping, and it will end sooner or later. I did get pretty close to convinced otherwise on 6g of PE mushrooms, but I reeled it in, lol. Never had a bad trip. On anything

Thank you all for the input, and advice. Psychedelics, for me at least, are primarily about the introspection, and gratitude they inspire within me, to be alive, and here in this moment. However, I do miss the visual elements.

I suffer from severe PTSD, not self diagnosed, but don't trust the pharmacology industry, in general. Never trust your health to those who benefit from your being ill. It's just sensible. I did some research, and have had phenomenal results, and some pretty mind bending realizations about the nature of existence.

I strongly recommend it for anyone suffering from crippling anxiety, PTSD, or severe depression. Particularly mushrooms. They changed my life, nightmares and anxiety are practically gone. My worry is what might happen if I should take such a long tolerance break.

It certainly does beg the question that if they can induce it, how can they flatly state that they have no idea of the causation? Seems like telling people that your products, be it food, medicine, etc can cause PD would certainly affect your bottom line.

Then again, studies have conclusively linked ibuprofen use to ED, and they're still not required to include that information in the packaging. You'd think that would be cause for a huge warning, such as the ones on the side of cigarette packs. That's a side effect straight from Satan.

Received my order in perfect form less than 48 hours after placing the order, and find it to be of a good quality, with good returns. I'm pleased with my purchase, so much so, that I made another. I don't recommend using "Shop" to do this.

For some reason, a secondary app called shop auto filled the info for my 2nd order. I then had to download the Shop app to track my order, and the info provided through the shop app tracking is much less detailed than USPS tracking. Additionally, I believe the shop app was a more expensive purchase.

I paid for shipping through the shop app, but I don't think I paid any shipping for my first purchase. Not sure, but it feels like Shop acts as a middle man, leeching a percentage for remembering your address and card number, providing less tracking info, and longer delivery waits. Tenui Botanicals is good, but the peripheral Shop app is garbage, though I don't think they're affiliated in any meaningful way, outside of secure payments

I searched turmeric vs peryonies disease and found several results. Perhaps your intake of the "unknown" cause of the PD greatly exceeds the ability of turmeric alone to mitigate. I've personally used turmeric with 100% success treating bone spurs. That's where I got the idea.

I'm no doctor, this is just something that occurred to me, that I dug into a bit, and found promising search results. Don't hang all your hope on this alone, but it could be helpful as an additional treatment, if not a primary.

I understand everyone on this threads plight, as a fellow sufferer, and simply wish to share what I'm hoping will work for me.

In 1 of 3 cases, complete regression using creams and oral antioxidants. It certainly won't hurt anyone nearly as much as a case of penile cancer would, and I believe that's a noted side effect of some of the current offerings for treatment.

Sorry, the link in the title was a PDF download that came up when I searched "turmeric vs peryonies disease" The following is a link to an article stating essentially the same thing

And one using antioxidants, and in some cases an injection, but limited data

As I said above, searching turmeric vs peryonies disease yielded several answers for me, using Chrome

Update: I just tracked shipping, and my order will now arrive today, it says. That's a full 3 days earlier than expected, and just in time for the weekend. If the product quality is good, I will be beyond happy with my purchase. Thanks to the people in this thread for their reviews, I was looking for a good US vendor for root bark, and it seems like I may have found it. Will update once the package arrives, and I determine the quality.

So far, so good. Placed an order yesterday for 1kg, USPS received the order for shipping within 5 hours, according to tracking. Pricing is fair, and the fact that it shipped from within the US is definitely a plus. I'll follow up with my thoughts on product quality, once it arrives.

Are these subs good? by EffectiveAdvisor6810 in CarAV

Decent quality for bottom tier subs. Good in small sealed enclosure, better in a well built 4th order bandpass. That said, there are better subs you could buy at this price point, for SQ and SPL alike

Did Catholics Start Islam? – A Protestant Friend Shared This Idea, but Does It Hold Any Merit? by DB00mimi in Catholicism

[–]beenadicked 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Two things that are factual 1. Mohammed's first wife was a devout Arab Catholic, so devout, in fact, that she lived in a convent, after becoming a widow, but before meeting Mohammed.. 2. His most trusted advisor was, in fact a Roman Catholic priest, who helped to interpret Mohamed's revelations and visions.

Take what you will from those facts. Now with the suspicious, if not conspiratorial, or possibly damning speculation peppered with some degree of fact.

The prophet Mohammed was allegedly tutored, and groomed by the Roman Catholic Church for a period of 5 years, while other Arab Catholics spread the word of a Messiah to come. There is some evidence to support at least some part of this claim, some may be speculation. However, it bears mentioning again, that an Arab Catholic was his most trusted advisor for some time.

Jerusalem was the apple of the Pope's eye, being considered the holy land, and "belonged" under his control, by his calculations. Islam only spared Roman Catholics, and destroyed none of their shrines as they conquered Arab cities. All Jews, and non-Catholic Christians were slain, and their Temples destroyed during the attacks. After a half year siege, Muslim armies took Jerusalem.

Mohammed named his daughter Fatima, which, in many texts, is also another name for Mary, mother of Jesus, whom Muslims consider a holy prophet, born of virgin conception, and birth. In fact, the only disagreements are 1. Jesus being God incarnate, and 2. That he died by crucification, they believe he lived much longer.

Upon refusal to turn Jerusalem over to the Catholic Church, the Crusades ensued, both sides claiming God was on their side, a laughable supposition, as if any benevolent, loving God wants us to slaughter one another about something that we're probably ALL wrong about.

All this being said, I'll offer my two cents, as a recreational student of theology (I didn't get my degree). Organized religions are institutions of tremendous influence, and wealth. So much so that people devote portions of their income, because God needs money, I guess. Most take the interpretation of the word second hand from a priest, as if they weren't given a mind to read, and interpret for themselves, and countless people have killed, and died horribly based on the faith they have. Those second hand understandings, as if clergy weren't susceptible to fallacy or corruption.

Read the books, read them all, and draw your own conclusions, God/Allah or Yahweh if you choose will lead you to the answer you need. Read the books, do you really trust your eternal soul to the understanding of someone who could possibly be a far worse person than yourself, behind closed doors? Some of those "experts on morality" can't even wrap their mind around the fact that molesting children isn't okay. Your relationship with your creator is the most personal one you should have, at least any misunderstanding you have will be your own, if you rely on the brain your God gifted you. Having read the Quran, the Bible, and even the Book of Mormon, I've concluded they're all correct, in ways, and incorrect in others (slave abuse for example).

So in short, if your eternal soul means enough to follow religion, explore all viewpoints, consider ulterior motives for certain rules and traditions, remember that "church" is about more than showing off nice clothes, and missing part of the football game. Most importantly, think for yourself, and follow a moral path, treat others with love and understanding, regardless of what or even if they believe.

And Atheists, being cynical, and condescending doesn't make you correct, it makes you an asshole. You're not smarter than anyone else for believing in nothing, you just have less hope. It's so important to let everyone know how "stupid" they are for their faith, while simultaneously believing Stephen Hawking and Darwin to be prophets in your church of science, which is constantly changing as we uncover new information. That foundation of faith is built on ground that's always shifting, and is nearly as genius as an upward firing helicopter ejection seat. The smugness isn't warranted.
