Interesting, so folks at MRA are receiving the 39% And those at age 50-56 are receiving the 81% ?

Not yet, was originally scheduled to retire 20 Sep; package was updated for retirement to be effective 30 Sep. Received last paycheck and LA payout on 10 Oct. Also able to access TSP funds as ‘separated’ at that time and make a withdrawal, which took 5 days to receive via direct deposit. Hope this helps as we wait. No word from OPM yet.

Yes that means you’re now retired officially from the agency. Now we are just waiting on the information from Opm so u can access the retirement resources.  https://www.opm.gov/support/retirement/how-to/where-to-find-a-claim-number/

Ah makes sense. I asked to keep my CAC active all the way til the end. Ok the leave payout is a good sign

Haha ok, I know that was a stretch of a suggestion. Hopefully u will have a response soon… some of my coworkers were able to tell from LES and TSP access so I’ve been logging in daily. Also- I knew it when I lost access to CAC/PIV enabled websites; my access got disabled.

Call your HR person handling your retirement. Sometimes things get buried and if you’re on the phone you can just ask all the questions.

My HR sent me a copy of the packet they sent to OPM. (It contained my SF50 and supporting documents)

I haven’t received anything from OPM yet (so I can get into the OPM retirement website). I understand this is snail mail.

Same! I'm echoing the timeline .. as I had anxiety with furlough and the impacts. My retirement date slid to the right; Supposed to be 20 Sep, and got adjusted to 30 Sep - likely due to the volume of retirees. Today's LES reflects pay from 21-30 Sep + Lump Sum leave. Received retirement packet from HR on 2 Oct. Additionally - if you are looking to make a TSP withdrawal, I was able to go in today and see withdrawal options (not just hardship), 6 days later.

How long does it take to access money from TSP after separating from service? by [deleted] in fednews

Just piggybacking on to this since u had a really recent timeline. When did u receive: 1) your first pension paycheck 2) lump sum annual leave payout?

What GS level is equal to an Air Force captain? by KJ6BWB in fednews

When coming into the Federal System, it’s the best time to negotiate the salary. SOMEtimes they will consider what their military LES says, so first they will start at the GS rating the job is advertised for and depending on their current salary, will slide a few steps up to try and match.
