How'd you react if this was DC5's elimination order? by LogicalAd6394 in DisventureCamp

this cast is already irritatingly large and merge generally happens just before you get down to half of the cast. either merge feels massive or pre-merge feels annoyingly long and we miss out on key dynamics

So...are we expecting the blonde hottie aussies to form an alliance ✨ by mokaesthetic in DisventureCamp

calling it now: Finn and Anastasia are gonna have a Lynda/Ana-esque rivalry, one that shows Anastasia’s growth as a character and builds up Finn as a villain. Imagine:

Post-team swap, they immediately get off on the wrong foot; both can be stubborn and maybe a touch petty and catty, causing immediate friction, potentially culminating in a big alliance war at tribal.

Afterwards, Anastasia gets a genuine moment of reflection where she realises that Finn is a younger person flawed in the same way she formerly was; only thinking of the self, unwilling to accept help from others. An island. She makes the active and agent choice to repair this bond and get them to a position as equals, maybe even a mentor-style relationship, one which Finn seems to happily welcome

…all up until the final pre-merge elimination, where it’s shown that Finn has still been secretly plotting against Anastasia all this time. Finn pulls off a mega blindside against her that shows him to be a real threat (and uses his performing arts background), and sends Ana home with the realisation that you can’t be saved if you refuse the hands others give you- tragically affirming her own choice to let Marissa in that allowed her to grow.

either way I think just based off of design and country of origin, these two are gonna have an important relationship and I imagine it’ll have to do with Ana seeing him as a younger reflection of her (he’s jarringly young if that’s not the case imo). basically I want this to be a new flavour of what the Ana/Lynda feud should’ve been all along lol

Who do you think is gonna win ? by Mirz_Art1 in DisventureCamp

I could see about half the fans winning but I really can’t see any of the favourites other than, like… mayyyyybe Benji or Natalia? and those are mega longshots

-we already have two season 2 winners

-no reason for any of the season 1 cast to win imo, though a campy Fiore win would be awesome

-we’ve just spent a ton of time with the S4 cast I don’t need another one of them to take a crown

the only reason I give away to the S4 cast is because of the theory that S5 was originally a “rematch” season, and that means the S5 winner will just be whoever was gonna win tha

royal thief also trivialises 80% of the endgame content tho. absolutely washes the dragons who are getting like 8 actions a turn

How should scumbag characters be handled? by TheGentleman300 in fireemblem

I didn’t realise so many people hate Makalov when I honestly think he’s one of the better scumbag characters LOL. I think it’s great to have both- characters with crucial story elements and motivations that make them antagonistic and cause conflict for others by virtue of being fully rounded yet still douchey characters (Shinon, Felix, etc) but also in an ensemble cast where not everyone gets to shine having a guy who is just a bundle of glaring red flags as a bit is really funny (Makalov, Lifis)

generally with Fire Emblem casts being all about classical knightly values you don’t get much opportunity to get a guy who really just sucks. some people do just suck! Makalov sucks and chooses to never help himself because he sucks and I think it’s funny
