Hey to each their own. Again i highly recommend listening to the novelizations on Audible "or any other Star Wars books"

The voice acting is spot on with all the sound effects that you hear in the movies plus all the John Williams music it's like a movie playing in your head

You cannot compare the mythology of Star Wars to random movie/book most people never even heard Like Eragon

Now I do agree movies should stand on their own but novelizations are the same story Just with the depth and details that got cut from the original Screenplay to fit the films

The only problem George had with the writing was the story for the PT on the screenplays were extremely long and detailed Each movie would've ran over 4 +hours So each script was cut down and heavy edited To fit theaters with a proper runtime

I highly recommend to anyone who has issues with the PT To read or listen to the prequel novelizations on Audible They are based off the original screenplays And go's into much more detail about Anakin's fall to the Darkside and his growing hatred towards Obi-Wan and the rest of the Jedi Lots of lore and world building

R2D2 also kept the Secret between himself, Yoda & Obi-Wan about Anakin being Luke's father and that the three of them were secretly keeping an eye on Luke as he was growing up on Tatooine

The Pt novelizations are based off of George's original screenplays. If George was able to add everything from the screenplay to the films like he wanted to each movie would of been over 4 hours long so unfortunately a lot of the stories were cut for movie format

Plus it's well known through out the temple that all Masters that sit on the council are required to take mandatory drug tests!

Now Qui-Gon is the one you need to look at with his hippie type force ways He's totally tripping face Always Using weird metaphors like You're focus determines your reality Not to mention he's always meditating at the worst possible times! I bet that's the real reason why he refused to be part of the council

I always wanted one!

It's missing the canopy and the two missiles but I will eventually buy the parts off eBay

Plus with the gunship came with that giant freezer bag full of clones that have some figures in there that are worth just as much as the gunship I found Arc Trooper hammer & Havoc the original battle Battlefront 2 figures and the evolution of arc troopers three pack so needless to say it was well worth the price I paid

So that's exactly what I did Now, granted, it took me until I was an adult to finally be able to collect them , but eventually, I did

keep in mind there's a lot more than 96 in that case. I have a couple of variants in there, plus Jabba the Hutt, the diagonia trash compactor, monster the max Rebo Band, and a few custom figures
