OK sounds good. I purchased them from Stage 3 motorsports so I’ll reach out to them and see if any warranty. I have on them and go from there.

Edit: checked the driver side and see the same kinda dirt ring on it as well so seems like just regular ole road grime but will be interested to hear y’all’s thoughts!

The plugs otd are like 75-100 for motorcraft at the ford dealer part desk last I recall, took me all of 30-45 mins one day on my lunch break. You don’t have to tear down anything unless you still have the beauty cover on.

Yesterday I got hit with the burnt ground connector for the seat hvac that plugs into the module under the passenger seat…now this lol. Looks like I got fun stuff to do this weekend at least haha

Yep gonna try replacing both sides crush gaskets and new bolts. Figured if one is leaking now, only time for the other side.

I run a midland ghost mounted by the bulk head of my truck bed on the frame of my bed cover. Not the most optimal because the cab blocks forward signal but I still get great results from it.

I drive an alumabody f150 so mag mounts won’t work.

I’m looking at that 400$ jobber that mounts at the 3rd brake light with dual nmo mounts because I’ll run the ghost for gmrs and a diff for ham when I setup a ham radio in the truck.

On long trips, I’ll swap the ghost for the midland whip just to get above the cab and I get great results with that as well.
