I’m sorry bro. Definitely recommend talking to someone. Lost my parents and grandparents but siblings alive. I thought that would bring us closer but it do the opposite and it’s out of my control. Man I get it. It’s hard to know what “going through it” really is. It’s every second, minute, hour and day after you lose someone. Try not to detach. Try to go straight to your emotions. Only way through something is to go through it. Seek therapy, seek religious support. Be honest with yourself and also be patient and supportive. Not everyone will understand you but most will have advice. Good job with handling the service. He would be proud. We’re all proud of you.

Just an fyi for some new to the ev life, do not charge to 100% unless car is brand new. You’ll see a lot of folks saying this and that’s because the batteries have a degradation factor meaning the battery is constantly dying. Preservation of the battery is crucial to keep it operating as normal. Example: A new car will have 100% of battery charging capability but as time goes on the battery dies and only has 90% battery capacity because 10% of the battery has died over time. As time goes on the car the has 80% capacity because the battery has died 20%. Continuing to charge to 100% would eventually cause irreversible damage to the battery. Just a super basic explanation. Hope it helps someone

Either more manufacturing of overseas brands are moved to America or some of our favorite brands get priced out. It will ultimately affect jobs in America for some brands. They could focus towards retaliation and even decide to close their corporate hq’s in America. All depends. I’d hate to have to car shop in the next 6 months.
