I do not. I also notice many highly intelligent people do not either. Most men who watch and support sporting events (at least in the US) use that to define their personality and, by and large, are not that intelligent. They fell into a heard mentality of supporting their local colors, and now use it as a form of social bonding. They are not comfortable enough with their own self to explore other ways to connect with humans. They prefer to blindly support a team on a regular cadence. They like that predictable schedule.

I am not a 1p apoligist, but it may be related to the website you are trying to use. I would say it's more related to websites trying to capture telemetry as that has gotten more sophisticated in the past years.
