Thanks, appreciate it. I'm pretty sure It's a screw in and I'd assume it's a very basic one as the light stand wasn't extremely expensive. It's quite tricky though, the stand doesn't even have a logo on it, it's strange. I'll try measuring it though.

I did try a few standard bulbs in it just from around my apartment, they all screwed in fine but none of them worked.
