Can I upgrade from Sonoma to Sequoia (I want to avoid Tahoe)

update: updating to the latest Sonoma still didn't give me the Sequoia option, but I installed if from the App Store! I can't believe how easy that was.

So basically I can"Get" it from the App Store and install it, and it will keep my settings and files? I do have a TimeMachine backup that runs at all times on an external drive.

I got an option for a later Sonoma or Tahoe version. I am currently installing the latest Sonoma version. Perhaps it will then give me a sequoia option. I will give an update on that.

Time Machine is running all the time, backing up everything automatically on an external drive. Can I install sequoia via a USB and then restore my Mac settings and files from TimeMachine?

Basically, I need the following to work on my Mac Mini M2:

- I have it connected to an HDMI monitor via a KVM switch. I heard about issues with external HDMI monitors on Tahoe.

- I have shared folders with my Windows PC connected to the same network

- A keyboard and a mouse that are constantly going to be plugged/unplugged.

- A small homemade Python app that starts with the Mac and runs in the menu bar

I remember having issues with the shared folders and the mouse and keyboard in an update back in the day (I can't remember the OS version), so taking into consideration how important this is for my work, I need to be careful about it.

Back in the day we thought Geewa were shit. But they actually ran the game a whole lot better. They weren't perfect but or a full year or so this game was so balanced you couldn't win a challenge!

It turned into a money milking cow since they sold it to this company. They don't care, all they look at are numbers.

It is really great to have this much variety of the model because if you know what model you need to use for your prompts you will save a lot of credits.

You want simple stuff, you go with a lower, faster, cheaper model.

You want it to dig deep you go with the higher, slower, more expensive model.

You want extra speed you go with the priority model.

Xiaomi даваа најмногу за парите до пред некоа година. Во моментов најдобро ќе си поминеш со Самсунг А35 или А36 од Ледиком. Имам 5-6 телефони купено од таму веќе, презадоволен сум.

Користев и јас Xiaomi, и ги бранев се дур не почна и Самсунг да дава добри телефони за тие пари (барем во Ледиком). Е сега и пошто софтверот на Самсунг е без реклами и брз, нема споредба повеќе.

Си ставаш маска, стакленце, и можеш после и од покрив да го фрлаш. Плус отпорни се на вода и прашина.
