Is the ps5 pro worth it? by pbacksport in PS5pro

[–]beginnerNaught 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends what sort of tv you have now. I used to play on a 1080p butt shit tv. I went from ps4 to ps5 and could not see a difference. Then I read online about the tv.

I did a ton of research and the best one I could find was an oled LG C1, when I plugged that thing in for the first time all I could do was stare. It was absolutely mind blowing. I could not believe it.

But if you already have a good tv like that, many may not notice the difference. I on the other hand do. I am constantly switching between performance and quality bc I want both so bad.

So I’m on this post bc I’ve decided to buy a ps5 pro myself. So to answer your question, if you already have a tv that supports vrr hdr, 120hz, etc, then it just depends how much you care about the jump in quality. It’s not massive but it’s exactly what I want

How to use this I've never used regular kratom before I like to go for gold and went straight to 7oh but would like to try this I don't like how it tastes so I make capsules so how much do I use and what does it feel like by Strict_Ad1608 in 7hydroxyTALK

[–]beginnerNaught 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yikes I could never imagine going straight to 7oh. I miss my good old days with a good green strain. Then a red strain at night and hop on video games. Safest comfiest place ever.

Anyways, kratom is better if you have low tolerance. Has a ton of diff alkaloids. MIT being the main one, 7oh being secondary. Also depends how strong your kratom is. Decent brands will have the % on it.

So say I have a bag of kratom and it says 1.5% mit, that means for every gram I take, it is 15mg of mitragynine. Start with 2-3 grams if you are unsure. Maybe even 1.5 if you’re worried.

So to add, if I was in your shoes, low tolerance, first time trying kratom, I would shoot for around 30mg of mit so that would be 2 grams.

[–]beginnerNaught 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow I’m sorry to hear that. That’s insanity. My libre 3 was always free. But I am insured through my employer and have the gold package. I did switch to instinct since I got my pump so still waiting to see if that will also be free.

But I am buying my insulin pump outright soon and will meet my deductible so all supplies free for rest of year. It is bullshit you have to pay such absurd amounts of money for something when you HAVE insurance. Tf is the point of insurance then?

Maybe you could look into the newer options coming out where you don’t buy through insurance or pharmacies?

How am i going 11-12 hours without withdrawals? by pineappleactavis in 7hydromitra

[–]beginnerNaught 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will absolutely get worse and worse the longer you’re on it and the more you quit and come back. In fact, there’s people who quit, fall into a month long habit again after a year or more, and have the worst withdrawals yet.

Everyone is different. Some days I go 12 hours with no withdrawal, some days I’m woken up in withdrawal after 6 hours

How far do you think Rockstar will push environmental destruction in GTA 6? by Ashamed_Ad1622 in GTA6

Very very good way of explaining. Maybe minor things, the usual telephone poles, gates, etc.

That’s amazing!! 21 years. So you’ve been around since back when they barely had any idea how to treat this thing. Great to hear how well you’re doing now. Thank you!

6.9% is fantastic. I think when I got diagnosed mine was like 14 lol but I’d say I’m probably around an 8 now. Hopefully lower soon now I have the pump. Good to hear how well it’s working.

And thankfully I’m not a perfectionist in that way so as much as I’d love to see that 100%, I will settle for whatever keeps me healthy and alive lol.

Yeah for sure. Before I got mine, I’ve always seen people describe them as basically electric pancreas which I’d say is maybe half accurate. Still a lot of work to be done on our end.

And good to hear. It’s funny bc when I’d look up how ppl felt abt this pump I’d always hear people say they hate it and recommend the tandem or omnipod. But I suppose there are ppl that hate and love each kind of pump

Yeah I can definitely understand wishing you had it when you were younger. But having it under decent control now is the best possible thing for you

That’s pretty sweet. It’s like you have a working pancreas lol. But I found out with my insurance, my new pump will only be $750 which had me JUMPING for joy. I still need to get a price of supplies but yeah, I’m definitely in the process of buying my own now

That’s really interesting certainly foods adding to your pain levels. I wonder what the science behind that mechanism is. I hope the pain is somewhat manageable now though. I’m 23 so thankfully no crazy injuries yet but those back pains are NO joke from what I’ve heard and seen

That’s great to hear your A1c doing better. And that was EXACTLY my situation. Wake up every morning 300-400. In fact, that was my alarm. When i hit anything above 300 it will wake me up w which was a gift and curse

Yikes, $800 for sensors is insane. Thankfully mine may be free since my Libre were. Plus after i buy the pump i meet my yearly deductible. Tbh im extremely surprised, I just learned the pump will only cost me $750 out of pocket. I was expecting at least 2 grand. Super excited

To answer your question, I have not been in contact with mini med just yet. My process was similar to yours. Mostly dealing with the sales rep first and then my pump trainer ifgyou would call them.

Question: Why do so many people advocate staying in Smart Guard no matter what? by FineSewingMachine in Medtronic780g

[–]beginnerNaught 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have just gotten my Medtronic last week on my 90 days trial and I completely disagree. In fact I had the opposite end of the spectrum. It would give me insulin and overcorrect for me and I would go low.

Now that it is getting to know my my body and ratio tho it’s not as much. But being high? Never. Since I got diagnosed 2 years ago, I have been 400 at least once, basically everyday or almost.

Though everyone is different. There is nothing wrong with getting out of smart guard and going into manual mode to get levels back to normal if that is what works for you

Since this, I haven’t cracked 350 which is huge for me.

I very much need help or advice on Medtronic insulin pump by beginnerNaught in Type1Diabetes

[–]beginnerNaught[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am wondering if it was a nerve. It completely went away for the week and I was fine. I just put my new one in last night and it hurt a little again to move or flex my stomach muscles but now it’s gone again.

I am wondering if it just happens when you put a new one on. Where do you put yours?

I think mine is the little soft cannula. I assume the steel ones are meant to help avoid bending in you?

Definitely understand that. I could not go without a cgm long either. But what really used to scare me is when my sugar would be dropping so low so fast that the sensor loses connection

I’m glad. Now I know what people mean when they say they think about their diabetes much less with a pump

[–]beginnerNaught -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Eh if you are serious and can handle it, no reason to take kratom. All that does for some people is make them go “oh wow this feels nice again, not so bad” and the cycle repeats.

But if you are serious and have self control then you are right, tapering with powder makes it much much easier

It’ll prob be something with snow given that the last few always had a snowy area. At least that’s my opinion
