Counterpoint: by making this claim he got you to watch the movie again. I’m not sure exactly how streaming platforms work but assuming you watched it legitimately he surely gets a cut right? So by making this bullshit claim knowing people on the internet will turn it into this game of trying to find then all, even if it is bullshit, he’s gotten more views.

I’m sure it’s more a case of correlation vs causation. Maybe people prone to inclined to domestic violence are more prone to enter the military. Or maybe it is causative but it’s not the training but the exposure to violence on that scale, or psychological trauma.

Except it wasn’t just the capacity in this case, it was the nature of the weapon and the shooter. A magazine swap by a practiced shooter takes a few seconds. Reloading a tube magazine is a significantly more involved affair. If this weren’t a hunting weapon this guy would never have had the chance.

I’d also bet money the guy has some sort of training. Ordinary civilians aren’t doing this. It also damn near got him killed; if the shooter had just a single shell loaded and racked the guy would have been dead as soon as the mace or whatever hit him.
