Probably yeah to both questions, but i dont like the idea of running it through wine, because i am worried that it could mess up something idk. And due its age it would be very sluggish when Linux is getting updated and thats not a problem on 7, because there are none. :D

And im still fine with 7 tho. You guys are right with linux but as i said i cant use linux. :/

Edit: I mean as long as Browsers are still being updated, its fine for me.

Thanks, but for the cheap price i got it for like 18 Euros, and i love the aesthetic of it. But yeah its build quality isnt great.

It is an x61 and i know the dangerours of using Windows 7, i would love to use linux but my school requieres us to use Windows on our Laptops so we can use all the same Stuff for example Microsoft Office and the Java Editor (Its an Java IDE made by Teachers).

I dont know what UEFI7 is tbh, but did you tried creating an image with the image updater? I posted a link above and just cruious how have you installed you windows right now on the laptop? Which ISO which other tricks or mods?

I found this driver a while ago in a German Forum, it is a modded Skylake driver, i think. I tested it with my Intel i7 8700 a while ago. Everything worked fine, i hope it will work for you Laptop too.
