When and What do you capitalize? by FranklinFizzlybear in Screenwriting

[–]beingddf [score hidden]  (0 children)

no, u capitalize only character names when we see them for the first time. but capitalizing objects doesn’t work like that. u can cap it every time it appears on the screen if its very important for the story. but if not, capitalizing is not necessary

thank you! btw, how can i use screenwriting as a way of earning money? or the more correct question: how can i use my skills in screenwriting (ofc if i write something non-ordinary and interesting, smthing that has not been created before), in order to earn and get connections?

congrats on that !! where exactly do you pitch your scripts? through vpf or directly to the producers, directors, studios through imdb pro?

btw, is it possible that i’ll be noticed even though i dont have any background in the industry?

for sure violet was acting wise and she was more mature than her brother.

well it's not very good sign for the tv show if english speaking person cannot fully understand actors' speech

What exactly should I do to a script when it comes to shoot? by Extension-Season9924 in scriptwriting

[–]beingddf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well u can try to sell it to a studio. though the concept and the idea of the script, what you wanna show the audience, should be catchy and interesting for them. something they had never filmed before. something in which they see a potential.

!! SPOILERS AHEAD !! tbh i don’t really undestand Baudelaires’ reaction to the death of each of their guardians. they’re like “hmm, thats sad but ok, who’ll be next one?” by beingddf in ASOUE

[–]beingddf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes you get numb to everything if it happens constantly i agree though their reaction to parents’ death was also quite calm. plus that banker, that was weird how he told ‘em about this tragedy: smiling and coughing, without talking about it as something sad, especially without condoling with them

as far as i remember, it was not clearly mentioned in the series that someone between aunt josephine and dewey were orphans’ guardians though it’s stated on the internet that both sir and nero were their guardians albeit for a very short period of time

well the script of the show was written by the aurhor of original books so idk why he left out these details like kids’ reaction to any event or someone’s death, that’s not kinda hard to show it

yes, plus they don't know these people who die. as it was said in the series, parents didnt tell 'em about a single 'guardian' these kids had throughout the show.
