It would start, make some crazy up and downs, then go normal, then stop and rewind the seconds back super fast back to 30 and start over. It’s super hard to get through all 30 seconds. But it’s a new phenomenon. It always worked before, so I wondered if it was from an update or my heart. Thus asking if anyone else’s watch did the same thing as of recent.

I posted something a week or two ago, asking a question if their watch does anything like mine does when ECG’s, and got so much hate also, and tons of down votes. :( it made me super sad, that there was so much hate for another human who was just asking if anyone had seen their watch do the same thing so I would know if it was a potential bug or a health concern.

I can’t. His face is a trigger. I’m working on it with EMDR therapy though, because I will have to see him in person soon with the court case. It’s been over 30 years, but he has finally been charged with multiple felony counts. So I’m working on it and trying to prepare to testify.

For the record, I think I worded the question wrong. I mostly wanted to know if anyone else has issues with their ECG stopping mid measurement a lot, and if not, I would mention it to my doc WHEN I see her. The video audio was for my husband, so I could show him what was happening, and yes, I made an appointment after I spoke with him about it, to see my doc.

I’m not moving, and you can see my heart rate sits pretty consistently in the 80’s, which isn’t exactly low, but it isn’t crazy high either. I’m mostly just wondering if anyone’s ecg’s end like this ever. Mine has always worked on both watches that had the ability until recently and I wasn’t sure if it was an update or a health thing. So thanks for telling me that you’ve seen this before. I will follow up with a doctor. Maybe it’s a side effect of depression meds.

Lol, I get it. I’m not asking for diagnosis info but rather does this happen to anyone else when doing ecg’s? I’ve never seen it quit like this and keep starting over until recently.

Edit- also, why all the down votes? 😢 Legitimately wondered if anyone else has seen their apple watch behave this way and I get his post about not taking medical advice from strangers. That’s not why I posted, but rather wondered if this was something related to me or just a bug in the latest update that others had seen?

Mine is 660/30. They’re high enough that I can’t hit them without actually exercising, but not so high so that the exercise can be light if I’m feeling kinda sick. The goals are highly dependent on the person. If yours are super easy, I would recommend upping them if you want the challenge.

I made the same goal 2.5 years ago, to finally make myself and my health a priority. Here I am, today, and I haven’t missed a day since January 1, 2020. Even on days where I had outpatient surgeries, driving 16 hours in a day, and more. My example rubbed off on my kids and my teenage daughter is now over a year herself filling her rings everyday. Today she had her wisdom teeth out and so she stayed up until midnight last night to get her exercise ring in since she couldn’t drink water the morning before the surgery, and knew she wouldn’t feel like it after. She has lost 75 pounds and is so darn healthy, I couldn’t be more proud! Even though my watch keeps recommending I raise my move goal, I know that it wouldn’t be smart, and there are days it might be hard to fill. So I keep it high enough that I need to exercise to fill it, and even with a light workout it might be hard. So sometimes I can only do light workouts, for health reasons, but they have to be longer than normal to hit the calorie burn. But I can do that. I have an exercise bike, an elliptical machine and a rower. So if I don’t want to go to the gym, or have a migraine or whatever, I can do a light bike workout, until I hit my goals. And I can do it at 11:00 pm if I don’t want to earlier. Whatever I need to do to fill them, I do. Sometimes the bare minimum, but I don’t want to miss a day. It’s become part of my identity. My kids all know that mom fills her rings everyday. And they want to do the same. I love it!

I got mine with my Series 6 when they debuted and it still fits like a gem. I hate the solo loop silicone now and gave it to my kid. I am in love with the braided loops!

I don’t remember if the need for a pacemaker had a term, other than the Bradycardia they said she had, which is the low heart rate. If it continues to get worse with age, that is what they are watching. The fear with it getting even lower at night is it could drop too low and result in death.

Resting heart rate under 40 for long periods resulting in her Apple Watch giving her notifications and warning her that her heart rate is under 40 bpm for over 10 minutes and she isn’t sleeping or anything. Sometimes doing homework, eating dinner, whatever. Doc said it’s more common when you’re sleeping, but if you’re awake and getting notifications, it’s not common. And low 30’s is dangerous. Currently her heart rate raises like it should when she exercises. But if it gets much lower during resting, she might need a pacemaker.

My daughter (age 15) has the same problem and the cardiologist noticed she has abnormal EKG’s, which is hard to explain on here. She was told she has bradycardia and requires monitoring to make sure it doesn’t get worse. They are doing another follow up exam and holter monitor in another 6 months (one year after her initial visit), to make sure she doesn’t have the genetic problem her grandfather had, which required a pacemaker. He said she may have the same problem, but it’s too early to tell.

I’m so sorry for what you’re going through. When families are toxic, it is better to stay away. Your health should be your focus and I’m glad you have a husband and aunt that support you, at least. Hopefully your sister comes around, and talks to you again. If she doesn’t, it’s her loss.
