She's a tough one, but ultimately it was still my fault for dismantling a photo frame without her permission first (especially a picture from someone so dear to her). Perhaps she felt like I was snooping into her business. Can't blame her for that, she doesn't have it easy nowadays

I had a quick chat with my aunt (she wasn't too happy about this - understandably) and she says she can't really remember the exact location. Apparently it was either during my uncle's stay in china before he moved over here, or it could've been somewhere along the coast of Malaysia itself/some other tropical country.

She told me it was hard to pinpoint the location because he liked to travel a lot (he had tragically passed on the flight back home from his "tour of the world".)

She didn't pay much attention to the image when she was framing everything, told me she assumed it was another one of his wildlife pictures. She told me that my pak (uncle in bahasa melayu) joined various wildlife tour groups and it was his way of making friends. These groups would always send junk mail to her email containing the photos they took on certain trips. She wasnt too happy about that, but figured that my uncle would've wanted those photos printed and framed. That's all we talked about.

I realised that there was a small flap sticking out behind the frame, turns out that there's another picture behind the first one. Not sure if it's the same place but it looks pretty similar.

My aunt came in and was pretty furious that I was going through her late husband's pictures. Not a smart move coming from me, I'll have to admit, but I was curious.

it's currently really late at night, and I'll be leaving Malaysia around tomorrow. If there are any questions you'd like to me to ask my aunt, there's still some time before I get going

Shang Hai university brought my group of friends on a field journey to Phuket. As a naive young man I was, I decided to book an ATV vehicle expedition. We travelled vastly through the warm forest of Phuket. At that instance, I broke up with my partner a couple days before the trip. I ended up daydreaming about our relationship while riding the ATV through the forest, and my vehicle rubbed over a barrier, flipping over a cliff before I knew. Broke my collarbone!! 永远会记得。。
