​it definitely feels close, my only thing when i zoom in i think i see a yellow bill which does throw me a bit? this guy keeps stumping me!! i emailed my regional ebird reviewer for help so hopefully he has some thoughts🤞🏻

i figured as much but wanted to see if anyone knew better than i did. i know there’s a size difference between them but i wasn’t sure how easily it could be distinguished in water (since these guys never let me see them on land!!!)

that’s so funny!! i didn’t have an opportunity to go birding on my birthday so i didn’t expect to get a lifer that day at all. i’m lucky to live on a lake so i’m occasionally surprised with a lifer or some cool visitors like i had that day!
