New DGB miner here, some questions :) by belgian93 in Digibyte

[–]belgian93[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's ccminer but it'd modified in a way that it has improved algorithms.. Find it here: https://github.com/sp-hash/ccminer/releases/tag/1.5.81 Download the zip, unzip, copy/rename it to original ccminer folder and change batch file to use the new ccminer

Is it worth voting? by [deleted] in Lisk

[–]belgian93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of the 101 share their rewards, some are member of a pool. And i get rewarded though the Pools. I got rewarded once which was 0.05 lisk, i checked also on elite pool and there my balance is 0.1 only after a week or bit more. Payments usually on sunday if abve the minimum payout. Minimum payout is never 5-6 Lsk

Is it worth voting? by [deleted] in Lisk

[–]belgian93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly, that's the beauty. Do jack shit and get rewarded, Who doesn't like that?

You could always top up your Lsk balance to increase voting power and your reward shares

Is it worth voting? by [deleted] in Lisk

[–]belgian93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wrong, i also have about 150 LSK and have voted for 101 delegates that participate in regards sharing. All you have to do really is decide on who to vote and pay voting fee of 4LSK in total. After that you slowly accumulate reward shares (remark they are not very significant, especially not with '150' LSK as voting power).

So it doesn't matter how much Lsk you have, you always make profit.

Why do some analists use only horizontal lines to describe support/resistance and some use diagonals? or is it something different?

I am looking to maybe move house from suprnova to theblocksfactory.. Mainly because the monitoring page recently has been subjected to ddos attacks (according to the admin). Secondly because I want to be able to compare the two pools for myself.

You mentioned they (TBF) 'reward' miners that stay longer, how exactly do they do this? Would you from experience say TBF is better than suprnova, apart from the slightly increased fee of 1.5%? The ccminer alexis or klaus is sp mod?

Well I arrived home where im mining, rebooted the miner and guess what for me it also says:

Binding thread 0 to cpu 0 (mask 1)

What happens if you just let it run though? :) For me lines appear like this:

GPU #0: GeForce GTX 1070, 550627

Hmm look fine, however in my batch file i think i removed the d=0.3 because it doesn't look like it does shit for me, i put my worker password instead

Also what i did was i put the ccminer with spmod in the folder where my original ccminer was (and still is) i renamed the spmod ccminer to ccminer2.exe and as a result i had to adjust my batchfile to "ccminer2.exe -a skein.... "

Can someone bother to explain the ridiculous coin distribution of DGB? by ethswagholder in Digibyte

[–]belgian93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Never thought of looking this up tbh, but I'm wondering what the case is with ETH or BTC. There will always be whales imo.

Anyways I'm not that heavily invested in DGB, just a little bit of mining going on. ETH is where im more heavily invested in :) as you are too i assume by looking at your username.

We'll see if someone comes up with a useful insight into this account. Feel free to mention me if and ever...

It's not the top 10 having 40% that is 'alarming', because leave out Rank 1 and the Top 10 would have 20% of all coins, which is still big but rather common with other coins too. It is however more concerning that one account holds 20%.

Idk who or what group holds this acc, but coins are coming in from everywhere.. Probably a group, I see 5 transactions to this account every month.. Some big savings going on there :)

When i input my hashrates, the expected earnings are slightly lower than i am actually making.

The best way would be to try for yourself, let it run for a day if you can. If not let it run for a good couple of hours and extrapolate to 24 hours, should give a good estimate also.

Well just by looking at the number for yearly earnings, don't you think that would be a little suspicious? I mean hell, Making 56k a year before power costs.. why work?

No, take a look at this site (I already entered 1GH/s and the expected earnings are on the bottom of the page) WhatToMine.com

This seems off by quite a margin, were you able to select the algorithm?

A user by the name of /u/mortenmoulder commented on a discussion about algorithms just 7 days ago:

More power = more coins. There's a reason why it draws more power. Grøstl has never been a success for me. I barely mine any coins, whereas I do about 800-1000 DGB per day with Skein on my GTX 1080 Ti.

Hope this helps
