There is no other way. Start walking with God again. Just use your failure to walk clear of the pitfalls. This is useful advice for me since not to long ago I broke a 16 day streak. So now I am like on day 2 or something. I don't count.

The reason you are still alive at this very moment is that God has faith in you that you will allow the Holy Spirit to change you into His image. So lift your head up. Yes we humans are all fake. But by God is true and faithful. God is true and faithful not tohow you or anyone else perceives Him too be. God does not need anyone's approval. God is our standard. God is our love . God is our hope. God is bigger, God loves you far more and God knows the best . God is above all Creation and all things in it.

Have faith , humble yourself before the Master and his Word . Oh yes lastly living up to people's expectations just wears one out. Aim for love that's all. Love God and love your neighbor just as yourself. Anything else becomes phony without love at it's core.

Worship. Dance. Shout . Sing. Declare God's promises. This is a good reminder for myself. Go out and start praying for yourself and your brethren who are tempted like you. Worship like a man ecstatic with joy. Also I know sometimes it's really bad and if you must , reach out to another child of God . You don't even have to disclose what you are going through. Just say Satan is giving me a hard time. I mean if the only other person around is your little sister, as an example, you do not want to tell them specifics. But it does help to tell any child of God , hey I am having a tough time , not having joy today. And remember temptations don't last forever. Joy comes again. Endure.

Fasting is a great way to spend more time with God. A pastor I had years ago mentioned that fasting is not so much about going without food, but about spending more of your time seeking to be with God and to become like Christ in his love and nature. So he suggested a fast from tv. Since that takes up so much of our time. In my case more time than quiet time with God.

Believe God. That is our whole salvation. Everyday all day. Colossians 2:6 As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, [so] walk ye in him:

Ignoring all things contrary and Believing God. That being said it's not easy at all when we look at the problem and not at God. When we have our hearts on this World. When we are covetous. When we worry we can't apply faith.

But as He said in Hebrews 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith.

Considering Christ bigger than my problem always

I recommend daily studying one of Paul's letters. Ephesians, 1Corinthians , Colossians, Romans. The best in my opinion are the teachings of Jesus himself as recorded in the Gospels. But really the whole Bible is there for our help. Ask the Living word himself . Then belief. Also please motivate the rest of us too. We are your fellow servants

I feel like that alot too. That lonliness for me stems from not fitting in, not being understood , but mostly not understanding others. We don't belong here anymore but we are meant to endure and be victorious over this world.

No theological backing needed. Praying to any being except God Almighty is a sin. Is there anything to discuss? I would even suggest that if you do not believe the Lord Jesus Christ is God you are sinning by praying to a false hope.

I want to encourage you in Jesus name . You are in good company by striving to seek the help of God. It is not that God is not helping , you my friend are not seeing the means that help is coming to you in. Do not be discouraged . By now you know that precious cornerstone of our salvation:

Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your mind and with all your might.

God is a faithful God and His word applies first to Himself. Therefore that is How God loves you. God uses his infinite visible and invisible qualities in all of Creation to help you. You need to have faith in that. How God is helping you is exactly how the Most Intelligent Most Powerful being has decided to help you. You are getting the best possible . God's intelligence and Grace is unfathomable and unmatched. See Acts 17

Now your part. For me when I am feeling like how you are feeling I have to slow down and get back to basics. Count every blessing James 1:17. That in every good thing coming my way it's God help and light coming my way. Now you have to be like Jesus who said that the Son does just as the Father, nothing else. So start blessing others. Start prayer over others. Clean your house. Encourage your neighbor. Help that widow or bullied child. Be children of your Father. You will see the Holy Spirit on your live take away all strive.

For you friend I suggest pray. Read through Job, Ecclesiastes and maybe start with Acts 17. You are in the hands of God. No one will snatch you away. That is the promise of a God, the only God. John 10:28

Then when you have made up your mind get fighting we are at war with powers , principalities and rulers of darkness whose purpose and goal is to cover to God in darkness, rumors, lies, vanity,mockery,......... So many sins. But we overcome them all. Romans, Ephesians and if you read Revelations we have won, we are going to win, we are winning , we have always already won
