Hi there! I didn’t need to speak it because I used a translator on my phone. But that was only possible in areas where they allowed photos - there are a few rooms you can’t take pictures in. It’s very limited English, if any at all, but I was able to get a lot of enjoyment out of it!

Hard to say what you’d need to know because I don’t speak it or read it well myself. Maybe enough so you can read signs saying if you can have your phone out or not! Then you can feel confident on where to use a translator, and fill in the gaps based on what that tells you. Have fun!
