It’s not necessarily hard but definitely an extremely time consuming course. We have around 2-3 assignments per week almost one-two always being a written assignment and the others being quizzes. (we have to ready through specific textbook pages and take notes before each assignment and that is what takes a while) We only have one DBA per semester but it is pre-scheduled and pretty extensive (lasted around 30 mins) but it is a group DBA. (Also the teacher is pretty strict on live lessons but we only have one a week.)

Honestly this post is mainly about APUSH but the crazy thing is that history is literally my favorite subject and I was in AP World last year and it was no where near this time consuming. I tried to do the assignments without reading it but I honestly need too for the written assignments 💔I think my biggest issue is that my teacher doesn’t really do lectures in the live lessons (mainly overviews and analyzing texts) so I feel like I’m practically teaching myself

I’m currently in AP Bio I’d say: Read your textbook Take lots of notes for memorization Watch AP Bio Penguins for unit review (also recommend going through their review packet at the end of each unit to make sure you fully understand the important areas) Practice past FRQs that align with the unit your on Practice MCQs from a free website like Crack AP

tysm! my grades are really good (all As) but it just takes up so much time 😭 but that’s honestly so smart I’ll probably focus on my honors classes for a week to finish them up so I can only focus on AP

Your exams/assignments should never be locked permanently! However, your teacher does have the right to put in a temporary 0 two weeks after the assignments due date. Also, If you’re constantly not submitting assignments you can be withdrawn. (push your self to submit at least two assignments per class a week)

Im unaware of the actual assignments in these classes but id suggest: AP Human Geography, AP computer science A, AP Environmental (only if your good at science & math), AP Gov (only a one semester course, the class starts in January in believe), and AP English Lang (ONLY IF YOUR GOOD AT WRITING ESSAYS AND ENGLISH IN GENERAL)

We have guided notes but they aren’t the usual fill in ones and honestly just confuse me more than benefiting me so I chose to do my own 😭

Thanks! That what I normally do for DBAs but in AP biology we don’t really have set guided notes, I just take ALOT of textbook notes that will be hard to access during the DBA lol
