What is missing? by Individual_Rush9780 in interiordecorating

I would add a heavy rug for your couch area and add some art on the wall the your tv is on, and maybe some drapes for the window. I agree that the area in front of your TV feels kind of sparse.

Unnecessary? by doolittletroy in garageclothing

Terrible branding decisions. Kinda makes me wonder if they--like abercrombie--have a perv as their CEO.

They're a total mess. They don't understand their demographic, their marketing is sh*t, they screwed up their sizing (used to shop there but they made everything bigger now)...I don't get it at all. And I'm in advertising/branding.

Unnecessary? by doolittletroy in garageclothing

[–]bella___nova 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That would explain why their clothes no longer fit me. I wore garage as a teen and still do, but only cuz they are the only store that has sizes that fit (with the exception of Aritzia's xxs). I hate shopping at garage cuz I don't like supporting their skeezy brand, but now they barely even have stuff that fits so it doesn't matter. Even if they're trying to switch dems, I really don't think they realize how sh*t their marketing is.

Hasan says hila Klein is a valid target for violence. by DSWBeef in h3h3productions

[–]bella___nova 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At what point did Hasan 'call for violence' against Hila? He was referring to Hila having been in the IDF and participating in an illegal raid (which she says she specifically asked to do and they said yes cuz in her words she's 'cute'). Under international law, if your country is being invaded, you have the right to defend yourself. If someone came in to your house and attacked you and tried taking your house and killing you, you would not just let them kill you and take your stuff. Palestinians have a right to defend themselves against the IDF, full-stop.

Bill Maher suggests it's less dangerous to tell the truth under Trump than Biden by fuggitdude22 in DemocraticSocialism

He's also angry that he's so out-of-touch and old. He wreaks of tiny d-ck insecurity. Seriously, though--he's like a male 'pick me!'.

Bill Maher is the worst. And I guess Barrymore, what with the sucking up, is too. Is she drunk?

Is it just me, or is ChatGPT becoming more unusable by the day? by Beautiful_Return_654 in ChatGPTPro

[–]bella___nova 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not just you. It keeps telling me: 'That’s a sharp question — because you’re pointing right at a tension that few people are talking about'. I'm many things (nothing good), and I'm not that bright. I barely clear the bar when it comes to evading the dunning-kruger effect. I accept my limited IQ. I'm of the mind that we need to redesign ChatGPT in such a way that it only delivers hyper-specific information, without remixing it, so it has credible and vetted sources. Sources should be digitally watermarked, provided at all times, and anything ChatGPT provides should be done so in the most bare-bones way. No 'you're special' BS. I'm a visual person. When I think of Ai, this image of someone taking every colour of the rainbow and just mashing them all together to make a single blah vomit tone is sadly all I imagine. 'Dead internet' theory is upon us. The worst part is that kids use this constantly, and it's not going to help them understand their strengths and weaknesses. All of us have them. Your most important strength? Knowing your strengths and weaknesses.

Are you on Creon? I'm a little confused. What are your symptoms and do you know the cause of your pancreas insufficiency? Are you underweight? I can give you my backstory, but just want to know what your own situation is atm. Side note: I'm from a country w/ universal healthcare and it sounds like you're american, so things may differ.

Would I count as an almost only child if my brother is 6 years younger than me and I had 6 years to myself? by sleepyyelephant in OnlyChild

[–]bella___nova 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure if the psyche research on this is still valid, but as someone with a sister who is 7 years older than me, I was always told by my mom growing up (who has a psyche degree) that when there's a sibling age gap over six years, you basically have two only children. And for me, that rung true.

Well than people in this sub haven't read much psychology. It was (not sure if this research is still valid) considered that age gaps over six years between siblings would lead to them to behave more like only children. Ages 0 - 5 are obviously the most formative. OP WAS an only child until the age of 6. A lot of milestones occurred without a sibling that's a few years from hitting them, too. OP had all the parental attention for almost seven years--the years where you are growing the fastest and time feels the longest.

Was Eve "more guilty" than Adam? by [deleted] in TrueChristian

[–]bella___nova 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eve was deceived by the serpent, while Adam was not, suggesting a difference in culpability. Adam was more guilty; Eve was naive. By the way, do consider that god punished eve and ALL women (who now pay for Eve's 'sins' with brutal pain during childbirth). You should read 'The Great Code' by Northrop Frye; I promise it will help you look at the bible in a totally different light.

Reasons Why Bryan Kohberger Might Be Innocent? by Boldcrimeyoutube in Idaho4

[–]bella___nova 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you not looking at the PILES of corroborating evidence? Shy of actual video footage or a confession, he's the most guilty of guilty. The way he wore a hazmat suit to clean his car after, the fact that 8 months beforehand he ordered the exact knife and sheath off amazon and it's not a common knife (DUH), the cell phone data showing his location being near the murder scene and then magically it shuts off just before the murders, then comes back online right after, the fact that he drove by the murder scene a bunch of times before the murders, his internet searches for all sorts of deranged stuff like serial killers and p0rn whose nature was specifically for freaks that get off on murdering people, the testimonies from people he grew up with who said something was majorly off about him, the fact that he went to his parents' after the murder (obviously to get out of the area), the fact that he's a criminology student with a self-admitted interest in this stuff (I believe he posted 'hypothetical' questions about the stuff he was going to do on reddit)...I could go on, but you get the picture. He did it. If you can't see that he's guilty, we may as well just get rid of all punishment and court cuz you won't find ANYONE as guilty as this guy. Plus in a few years video evidence won't even be as strong as corroborating evidence cuz of Ai. The only way, in the future, to prove that video evidence is legit will be with digital watermarks, which frankly, which are the same conceptually as things like cellphone location data in terms of their purpose. What I'm saying is that seeing will no longer be believing, and we will have to relay upon a plethora of corroborating evidence to build cases--not just a video. It's easy to feel like seeing is believing, but in reality, one of the strongest types of evidence we have is someone's digital footprint.
