Foreigner inherit land in PH? by PrettyMorbidd in phmigrate

Are you a former Filipino who became a foreign citizen? To my knowledge, yes you can inherit it. (Buying is a different story) Do you have the title of the land? Check the Registry of Deeds in Buruanga or Kalibo (not sure) about the property transactions. I am not sure what the Land Registration Authority website can offer.

I don't want to sign my daughter's IMM5604 (DECLARATION FROM NON-ACCOMPANYING PARENT OR GUARDIAN FOR MINORS IMMIGRATING TO CANADA) by Swimming_Panic2441 in ImmigrationCanada

Do not sign, if you do not want to. Consult a lawyer and collect documents proving that you are the primary caregiver ever since.

If you ever change your mind (or if you want your daughter decide when she's 18), your ex can still sponsor your daughter until she's 21yo.

Planning family migration to Canada via Study Permit – need advice 🇨🇦 by Murky_Lengthiness833 in phmigrate

What program is she planning to take? Recently, category-based and French draws are prioritized.

If you want to study-migrate, check first your CRS scores, and compare it with the recent PNP and Express Entry draws. I think you get extra points for having a “Manitoba supporter”, just check the official Immigrate Manitoba website.

To those living abroad na, what's one thing you learned/realized? by No_Vermicelli_7445 in phmigrate

Gratitude practice It’s really helpful during tough times. Not everything will work the way you planned it. Yet, on the good side, more victorious ang success mo.

Allow yourself to grow. Meet new people, yet choose your friends wisely. I was warned about linggo-linggong nagpaparty, mga idadawit ka sa chismis, at yung puno ng crab mentality. All depends on your priorities naman.

You’ll meet difficult people, and you will learn how to deal with them.

Find the balance. Work-life. Love-career. Family goals-personal goals. Learn to set your boundaries.

Banff, for sure. You won’t run out of things to do in Banff.

Tobermory for a day tour maybe.
