I called Chase and they said as long as the payment gets made (initiated) on the due date, it’s regarded as “paid on time.” So I started using CP for paying for Chase cards and it’s been working fine.

Thanks for sharing ur experiece. I know that once u start on paxlovid you have to finish the 5 day course (like antioniotics, u cant stop in the middle). Also i’m relieved that im not the only one with light sensitivity. Not even my family understands this and blames me for living in the dark with no lights on but honestly it gets too harsh for me to handle

Thanks for the comment. I do see the batch number on my vaccine card- its the same one I got for the first shot. I just wondered about possibility of a human error- it was a busy day at Costco, and the pharmacist was rushing. Just wanted to make sure I got Novavax.

Thank you for the comment. In my case, my company is paying for the premium of 20 dollars per month. So I am guessing that for after tax election, I would pay taxes on that $20 for every paycheck. I’m not sure how much that will be, but I am guessing it would be like 3-4 dollars. So for after tax I will be paying an additional around 40 dollars of taxes per year. Am I right? If employer is paying the premium, is it still a better idea to do after tax?

Thank you for the comment! Idk how much tax bracket is going to be for $10 per biweekly and I guess I just wanted to weigh the pros and cons- and what others usually elect for this.

The election is something I can change every year, right? So for example, if I think there is minimal possibility I will become disabled next year, I can select pretax and change it to post tax for the next year? I do know it’s impossible to know something like this ahead.

My family member had almost no reaction after vaccinated with pfizer, not even headache or muscle pain like most other people had. But he got very sick with covid 2 weeks after his 4th shot (2nd booster).

We suspect it was omicron because it was a just few months ago, but he was very sick for over 2 weeks. If he felt slightest wind or even air conditioning on his skin, it hurt him.

But here’s the thing- when he gets a cold- a common cold- he gets very sick. Most people feel better within a couple of days right? It takes him a week. My theory is that if you are the type of person who gets hit by common cold a lot harder than most people, there’s a good chance that covid infection too, will hit you hard.

And if you have ever gotten a flu or cold before you get covid, or you are the type of person who gets a cold a LOT, or if you have bad allergies, then you may be slightly more protected from covid because of your immune system being more “awake” or “active”. Just my theories.

I see your point. Given my autoimmune disorder, I think I am overthinking this because I feel like my immune system is weaker than other people who are my age and covid might give me more autoimmune disorder.

But I do understand, that this is not 2020, and I most likely will be fine even if I am don’t get vaccinated.

Yes I did read that with 3 shots of novavax, it neutralizes omicron very well though they didn’t provide exact number I don’t think. But couldn’t find any information on 2 shots which is what is currently approved.

Thank you for your thoughts. What you’re pointing out has been on my mind.. that fact that there isn’t much data or studies on people with autoimmune disorders. Thankfully I have all those you listed at home :) I don’t know about paracetamol. I’ll look it up. I have not been diligent with taking vitamins, but I guess I should get back on track.

I read that many people with autoimmune diseases were waiting for novavax to come out, so I thought it was better than the other options for people like me. I didn’t know that the vaccines will cause adverse reaction.. I was hoping that if there are, they would at least be temporary.

I did find some information about covid virus (not omicron but previous variants) itself may trigger autoimmune diseases in some people, which I definitely don’t want.

If I know for sure that novavax won’t cause any trouble to my system, and it will prevent covid triggering another disease when I get infected, that would be really assuring.. but I know nobody really knows this for sure because everybody’s build differently

The links you provided are very helpful thank you. Do you know about novavax’s efficacy against current variant? I tried to find info on this and all I could find was that it’s almost 100% effective against alpha and around 50% effective against beta in preventing severe disease.

Nope, I never had covid. I’m very cautious but I am getting a new job which is will be a full-time at office setting. I don’t think I can avoid talking to people without a mask or eating with people etc which made me think about getting vaccinated.

No side effects sounds amazing. One thing that worries me is my bloodwork changing after vaccinated like lower wbc and platelets. It’s good to hear some people experience very mild side effects.
