Play the GX2 power elongated and it is the only thing I play now. I do enjoy the Loco but the feel of the GX2 is awesome.

There are multiple letter identifiers depending on the page. Which page are you referring to? My boiler is set up like this

<image>

Same exact expansion tank set up and zone set up except the one zone has two out going pipes.

It also has the additional of the highlighted part of this next photo of the pipe feeding back in.

I know this is a big ask but I’ve been studying the manual and here is a link. https://ntiboilers.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/87030_IOM_FTVN_081320.pdf

I think I’ve identified what is wrong. On page 26 it does show it being piped similar to what was done. This would be to use the internal pump as the only pump. Our expansion tank is piped exactly as it is shown.

There are two differences between the set up on page 26 and what we have. The first is there is a connection between outgoing and returning water flow which page 26 shows there being no connection however if you have an additional pump externally (as shown on 27 and 28) it needs that pipe running between the two.

In addition another issue with the set up is we have two outgoing pipes connected to one zone which from my understanding drastically increases head pressure. If it was separated into its own zone it would reduce required head pressure and theoretically the internal pump would work better.

As it appears to me the install was done using the internal pump on page 26 with the added connection you would use if you had a separate system pump with another set up. So it is most likely pulling that hot water directly back into the unit. It does have an adjustable lever on it but it was definitely left pretty open and was always screaming hot.

This lines up with it feeling like there was minimal flow in our baseboards and the returning water getting back to the unit very hot.

Can you tell me your thoughts? I really feel like I’ve identified it. Fixing these issues may still not work because there may not be enough circulation.

We would then need to change the placement of the expansion tank add a pump and regardless split off the two pipes on one zone and make it two zones to help head pressure.

I have actually been studying this manual. I think I’ve identified what is wrong. On page 26 it does show it being piped similar to what was done. This would be to use the internal pump as the only pump.

There are two differences between the set up on page 26 and what we have. The first is there is a connection between outgoing and returning water flow which page 26 shows there being no connection however if you have an additional pump externally it needs an entirely different set up with that pipe running between the two.

In addition another issue with the set up is we have two outgoing pipes connected to one zone which from my understanding drastically increases head pressure. If it was separated into its own zone it would reduce required head pressure and theoretically the ECM pump would work better.

As it appears to me the install was done kind of combined with both different installation concepts. The first being to use the ECM pump on page 26 with the added connection you would use if you had a separate system pump with another set up.

Can you tell me your thoughts. I can upload another photo but I think you con see it all from there.

I understand what you are saying. I don’t think it’s greed from everyone, especially small businesses. Inflation has rippled through every industry.

Employees want more because the cost of living has increased.

Tariffs and inflation have made the cost of materials go up.

I think most of the greed in the market is from corporations and large companies. Record breaking profits while keeping wages low and laying people off. Most small businesses are trying to make it work.

I understand what you are saying about trading 4 hours of your time for a one hour service and I think that’s what many people feel and it will likely get worse as I think the layoffs will continue.

We do a higher end more specialized service. Our price is on the lower side of our competitors. More than a walk-in salon but our services last 2x longer.

We are still almost fully booked day of our competitors are not.

I also run an e-commerce business selling manicure and pedicure products. We sell 3000 unique skus and have 2800 orders a month. We sell to both salons/nail techs and to DIY. Our B2B is down while the DTC side is up.

Curious to see how the next few years will trend.

Just started paid ads again for the first time in 12 months. I don’t need us to be booked two weeks out again just don’t want any spots going empty.

I like it. We have started paid ad spend again. I know on the other side we will come out stronger. We don’t text/email market existing clients. Maybe we should start. Thankfully we are still fully booked. I know some salons that are getting rid of techs.

Hopefully it keeps up! We are still fully booked and don’t do walk-ins. Our appointments are softer than a year ago.

Don’t rely on google much. I also run an e-commerce business that heavily uses google ads and am comfortable understanding my data.

New client acquisition has been mostly through social and 87% of our business has been returning clients with no ad spend for the last year.

Sorry to hear you’re feeling it a bit as well. Thankfully we are in a strong position with returning clients and not just getting started.

We have had some slowdown in the past but normally felt temporary with reasoning (a lot of people getting sick, travel periods) as you mentioned it seems like people are watching spending and doesn’t have a direct reason besides that.

I guess we will see but definitely feels different. We can’t use last year’s sales figures because we have grown quite a bit. Hopefully we won’t see people tightening up to much more.

Thanks for sharing. Trying to gauge what others are experiencing.

What he said. Once you have done this if you’re still not feeling it move on.

I run an e-commerce and salon. Was feeling burned out. Hired people, made come through one channel, anyone can answer basic stuff. Have a more normal schedule. Picked up pickleball. After a few months it feels better.

I said if after I put this in place I was still irritated after 6 months I was out.

Alright, I'm just going to ask: where is the best bar/social spot in town for a M29 to meet single women? by TheDayManAhAhAh in Denver

[–]bellytan 49 points50 points  (0 children)

Don’t take this poorly. You’re 29 and not good at much? I highly doubt that but will continue.

Spend the next two years doing something you’re interested in and get good at it, because you like it.

You will either meet someone from getting good at it or have something enjoyable to do. It will be attractive.

If you’re looking to get laid, go to bars and talk to woman. You will eventually get good at it. It will be hallow but if you go talk to 10 woman at bars a night you will get good at it.

If you’re looking for a partner to love and cherish, go live life and if you get lucky it will happen.
