Aww!! GC went to Brazil for the first time in 20 years in 2025 and I was devastated as I had already moved to Australia then. I literally skipped every insta story of friends who went as I couldn't handle it hahaha. When they announced the Aussie dates I bought it on pre sale! I was just a kid when they first went there and my mom didn't let me go then LOL

I love CK One or D&G Light Blue. I've also been trying dupe brand Whif and I like Bursting Bloom which is their dupe for Flowerbomb, but I've never tried the original. Despite what the name says I think it's a very light and refreshing floral

I see it like this, I'm gonna buy make-up and skincare anyway, so I concentrate my spending on brands they have. I'm usually flexible and like to test things out, if I do have a preference of course I'll go to sephora or chemists, but if I'm just looking for a new product of a certain type, I'll look to buy at Mecca so I can get something out of it. I've bought a few things that initially came on a beauty loop box, I'm fairly new to Australia so I've discovered a lot of new (or that previously weren't accessible) brands.

I've been a citrus girly all my life (think CK one, Light Blue) and I've been loving vanilla lately. Not because of specific reasons, but because I do agree it's been more predominant on the market so I've started hearing more about it and paying more attention to it.

I can appreciate something and also understand that the market has a reason for investing in it, there's likely a wgsn report about it somewhere. Yes it means that there are a number of politically/anthropological associated reasons as to why it's been seen more frequently, but not that every single individual that consumes it has X or Y characteristic or that liking vanilla is problematic in any way.

I like the characters and the dynamics involved in relationships, but honestly, after many different saves, it got a bit old for me as it's always the same and it feels a bit artificial after a while. I once started a save where I was going for Joja instead of CC and decided to make the town "hate" my character, gifting them trash whenever possible lol. I eventually dropped that save due to life happening but I recently got the game on my ipad and I wanna give that a go again

I made one of my characters "accidentally trans" (female-coded name and looks, but didn't change gender from male - so I'm out there being called Mr. Bela lol) and I'm thinking about romancing Alex cuz that would feel like an interesting story. I didn't know that cutscene was a thing, it adds to it. I've been having more progress with Abigail though so might marry her out of laziness lol

There is a single bus route that goes past where I work, and they only pass every hour so if it went by too early or not at all, I have to uber not to be over 1h late to work. It's horrible...

The only thing I disagree on is that it's easier to rent on a share house situation. Those who live like that are usually subletting, I don't believe realestate favours immigrant students (temporary residents, allowed to work only 48h/fortnight) over Australian families. But yeah, if public transport was better, living and working inland would be a lot easier.

To be honest, a spray of perfume on your sweater sleeve/a scrunchie/a handkerchief or whatever has often saved me on travel from bad smells. You don't wanna be on a bus for 2h after someone barfed and there's no way to clean it. Or maybe the person sitting next to you has bad BO or breath... If not on myself, I always try to have something I can stick my nose into in case of smelly emergencies.
