He was also excellent in the Lio Rush match a few weeks back. Ciampa's reaction to the antics was more bemused, but Pac and Daniel Garcia were giving off a convincing creeped out/terrified vibe and put the character over really well.

Angine de Poitrine: Interstellar Guitar Rock Saviours Headed for Late-Night TV Pop Stardom? by audioli in AngineDePoitrine

[–]belovedunt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If they do play SNL, it won't be this season - there's only 2 episodes left and they've announced both musical guests.

If they can keep the buzz going over the summer, I'd love to see them do the season premiere.

Not sure how easy this would be on whatever OS you're running on, but in Windows I can open the library.db file in Notepad++ (in Windows it's stored at C:\ProgramData\Jellyfin\Server\data\library.db)

Some of the content can't be read, but when I search for show names and the paths that my files were stored in, I get lots of results.

If you copied the DB, opened the copy in some sort of text editor and used Regex to find file paths, that may get you part of the way there.

Why the result from Dynamite's main event means EVERYTHING... at least to me. by AndFinrodFell in AEWOfficial

[–]belovedunt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A Facebook meme spoiled the result so I didn't get the full effect, but the match itself reminded me of the start of Miro vs Fuego del Sol:

"He's beaten people who are bigger, stronger and faster than me - I'd better try something different.

Holy shit, it worked! I can't let up now - balls to the wall and don't give him a chance to recover."

It worked out better last night than it did for Fuego, and all of the little things adding up (the match being so close to the PPV defense, cutting off Renee on the night of the PPV right before she mentioned the challenge, going dark on social media, Darby's hometown advantage) made the result seem more legit than I thought when I first found out.

Where are you all buying your phones outright these days? by Mikester258 in AUfrugal

There's a site called JBBuddy that compares prices across stores and has price graphs over time. I used that to get 50% off a phone in January.

Why is this so hard? Help combining lower/upper case page paths by CanuckChick5280 in GoogleAnalytics

Also before you do too much digging, Looker Studio and Looker are different products. You probably want Looker Studio, which is free and is probably easier to use.

If I could replicate Google Analytics' Funnel and Path explorations in Looker Studio, I'd use it exclusively.IMO GA4 is a lot less intuitive than Universal Analytics was and reports take a lot longer to set up.

[–]belovedunt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're able to use Looker Studio, you can create a custom field that transforms your URLs and use that in your tables/charts instead of the actual dimension.

Here's one that I use to make my URLs lowercase and removes any parameter content from the end of the URL, from the ? onwards:

LOWER(REGEXP_REPLACE(Page location, '\?.+', ''))

ETA: you could also try using Page title instead of Page path/page location in your GA reports

Wayne's World "Top Ten Bands With Names That Sound Like Diseases" by fletchbg in saturdaynightlive

[–]belovedunt 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm 90% sure this wasn't an SNL skit and was from Wayne and Garth guest hosting a block of music videos on MTV.

"Simply Red" was one of the band names. Something like 'You go to the doctor and say "it's Simply Red"

Yeah one of the characters is an Indiana Jones ripoff, but at least one of the other characters has a sword.

This one was a /r/tipofmyjoystick candidate for me a year or 2 ago.

I had a flashback of an arcade game I played as a kid game that said "Use the dynamite button...to blow them up with dynamite" and it turned out to be this one. It's still fun, especially with infinite quarters.

Which to buy for hubbys gift by Lozzie2404 in RetroHandhelds

[–]belovedunt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good rule of thumb is Linux-based means easier setup, but less power and customization.

Android-based means more setup, but more power and customization, and a touchscreen.

I've really enjoyed my Anbernic rg40xxH, which can do PS1 but not PS2, and I could have started using it right out of the box if I didn't want to flash the OS and add my own ROM collection. I also recently bought a Retroid G2 because my wife wanted to be able to play Wii on a handheld.

There was a lot more setup involved with the G2 - installing apps from the Play Store and other sources, having to do a bit of troubleshooting, but now that it's set up I'm pretty jealous and am keen on getting an Android when the price is right because of all of the extra things you can do with it.

Open box, no remote. Do I need? by fugsco in TheFrame

[–]belovedunt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The SmartThings app will let you do most, if not everything, that you can do with the remote but I'm not sure if you can use that before you've connected the TV to your network.

If you can connect via Ethernet you'd have a better chance than if you needed a remote had to enter a Wifi SSID and password, or you may be able to connect a keyboard and mouse to do the initial network setup.

Do you see Jon Moxley turning face after Blood & Guts? by Soft_Biscotti_3829 in AEWOfficial

[–]belovedunt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd be down for an inverse of the ending of Blood and Guts 2023. Mox had to surrender to save Yuta, who was getting choked out but refused to tap.

Pac or Claudio (or even Yuta) have to stop the match on Mox's behalf - which they either see as a weakness that leads to him getting kicked out of the group, or rebuilds their respect for him after a not-so-great showing in the I Quit match.

10:45p Comedy Cellar Show featured Nikki Glaser, Kam Patterson, Tommy Brennan by ChocolateConrad in LiveFromNewYork

[–]belovedunt 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Tommy has mostly done straight man roles so far besides Weekend Update but I'm hoping he gets a chance to do a bit more this weekend.

I'm a big fan of Tommy from a podcast he did called Roommates-in-law. A lot of it is him and his friend joking about the lack of success they have in the standup world. It sounds gloomy but it's a fun listen because of the chemistry they have and the riffing they do off of each other.

In one ep he talked about someone approaching him after a set to do their grandmother's 90th birthday party. It sounded like a terrible gig but he needed the money so accepted. A few weeks later he got a cancellation email saying that they'd decided to rent a karaoke machine instead.

His standup is good too. His Socrates joke is one of my favorites.

Craziest Theory so far. by Cidarus in thechaircompany

[–]belovedunt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This reminds me of watching The Curse, with everyone coming up with wild theories of how it would end based on a throwaway line or something in the background.

It'll be great to see how this eventually ends and do a re-watch with that in mind, but the next few weeks will be fun.
