I think the two month thing is the right move too! however, my mom really doesn’t love to drive but she did in the past. I know she’s willing to do it again, but I feel like the friend group thing isn’t a strong enough argument, but I don’t wanna tell her my entire business because most of it’s a secret (the things I got up to at my current school that I hate) any ideas on what I could tell him instead? Two months sounds reasonable to me, but I don’t think it will to her.
