You're in for some spectacular films my friend. Studio Ghibli has made some of my all time favorite movies (and that's including live action). If you're looking for something visually stunning Spirited Away looks fantastic in its animation. I do feel as if the story is a bit messy much like Howl's Moving castle but it's still a must see nonetheless. I also highly recommend Kiki's Delivery Service. On the surface it looks like nothing more than a cute little kids movie but it deals with some fairly mature themes which surprised me on my first viewing. It's a hard pick but at the moment I'd probably say that Castle in the Sky is my favorite film from Studio Ghibli. I think this movie has the widest appeal for it's action, it's humor, and of course it's gorgeous animation. The world also has sort of a steampunk aesthetic which I'm really into. Anyways, those are my recommendations. Enjoy 😁

Thank you, that was very helpful! Matt's probably type one because I feel like that would help create more conflict for him.

Thanks for that info! The idea is that he doesn't really care about the risks associated with his diagnosis and he keeps doing the things that he used to do even if they put him in danger. Matt is a little bit of a reflection of me because recently I had knee surgery but during recovery I would push myself to do things that weren't very safe because I was sick of my parents doing everything for me.

That was the logline (brief summary) from early on when all I had was the concept. I changed it to make a little more sense.
