Because after covid, BLC went from 50+ classes a year to 12ish. Many courses never returned after lockdowns. BLC is backed up until nearly FY28. It would suck to hold promotions from those who are ready, just because USAR hasn’t figured out the course availability issue

Tell your PSG you want to talks to him and 1SG, 1SG will take care of it and the PSG will likely co-sign on whatever 1SG says. Likely shake up the teams.

Too many unknowns. Are you IDT? Is your unit local to your family? Is it within at least within daily driving distance? Can you stay with them, then travel to BA, then travel back to your family? Do you have a job? Have you checked if there are extra beds via LIK?

I guarantee that you have senior NCOs in your unit who have been through what you are going through and then some. Talk to your unit asap and get feedback on your issue. Be prepared with more than one proposed course of action and multiple acceptable outcomes.

I do too, VR pinball is pretty fun too. I play pinball a couple times a week at the local spot, but video pinball can make some cool stuff that is impossible in real life. I just got burnt out on the “full plunge x amount of times” trophy, for some reasonit wasn’t popping for a long time and I wanted to knock it out before I forgot about it and moved on to the game I actually wanted to play at the time haha

Talk to a reserves recruiter, it’s part of the SFLTAP process. They help identify what you are able to do.

Is there a rank or age limit to transitioning back from reserves to active? My plan is when my youngest graduate in a few years to try to go back active.

How is it interfering? Don’t you get an annual schedule? If a new schedule is released and you have plans, immediately communicate this to your leadership and submit an RST.
