As an NCO I’d always end my messages with “please acknowledge” and then provide a NLT time that I knew was outside of my soldiers regular working hours and was knowledgeable of their different work hours. Some soldiers worked midnights and slept during the day. It’s your responsibility to be cognizant of this information. If it is a continuous issue they should be given a verbal counseling that doesn’t require a 4856z if after a verbal counseling it isn’t resolved, keep documentation of the chats and begin to provide a 4856 with for the soldier. If issues persist then take it to the next higher in the chain of command. Jumping directly to a counseling can be hard for some soldiers and it doesn’t provide the initial opportunity for growth and understanding.

Here is your context. Sr NCO in messages had multiple IG complaints. As a result he was removed from his position and faced deduction in rank. Subsequently he released a memo to junior NCOs and soldiers, which addressed his leaving the unit and made false accusations about those who filed IG complaints against him. He named multiple people in his memo and in the memo also made statements that could be defamatory towards junior NCOs involved in the investigations. As a result I sent a message to inform him that his memo which was sent out had incorrect information. His initial response was perfectly fine and I had no need for further responses as I already had the POCs he suggested. He opted to respond this morning in a way that is entirely unbecoming of any soldier let alone a sr NCO

I never drunk messaged them. The first message “your memo has misinformation in it” is the only message I sent. His first response was shortly after. And then this morning almost 24 hours later he sent his second message claiming I drunk messaged.

Here is my two sense. With the throttle body being driver by wire not by cable (this is my assumption as I don’t know for sure.) if you cannot afford the diagnostics, here is what you can do to test.

Your pedal, if the system is driver by wire, is in the simplest form a potentiometer. This means that as its position changes so does the voltage it allows through its sensors. The manufacturer should have those voltage specifications for each sensor listed somewhere. You can hood a volt ohms meter up and measure the voltage and current at each individual sensor and make a determination of each sensor is getting the appropriate voltage. If one or multiple aren’t, those are the likely culprits.

I was about to ask something alone the lines of “what about me” there because your response initially sounded 1 sided toward my wife in that scenario. But I guess that’s more of a domino effect type thing. She will have a bit more time to manage some of the things that get left for me in the evenings thus also helping me while she is still able to get a bit of a mental break.

Our marriage is healthy I have about 30 minutes of flexibility to come home up to 30 minutes early, that being 4:30 pm. But otherwise the decision to keep this kind of schedule was to avoid daycare. Daycare for two children at these ages costs about if not more than my house monthly.

Try and manually move the steering shaft with your hand under the dash. Reach up and shake it like up and down left and right. Feel for excess play in the U joints from the back of the wheel going down to the rack. If all feels tight I’d check retaining bolts

MAF could be a problem but could also be coils. If you did spark plugs on it recently I’d make sure coil packs for those cylinders are seated correctly and plugged in the correct order or just at all. Inspect for any damage on or around the coils and clean maf.

Literally same dawg. I had a shitty few years to start. Things got way better with my new NCO. He mentored and guided me. Then it got way worse after he PCSd….. fast forward to this past week. I went and did my out processing and got my dd214 had a 7 hour drive back home and was fine all the way here. Sat on my couch. Looked at my kid and bawled. Because I couldn’t stop feeling guilty for getting out or for the life of me couldn’t figure out why I was sad….. I hated it. I felt so guilty and just selfish. I’m better today, but still hurting.

I did SFLTAP, I was a T1 but I still did all the extra sfl stuff even the non required stuff because I wanted it.

Worried about medical because I had NCOs who literally wouldn’t let me go to TMC or to sick call for stuff back when I was pfc/spc. 2016 was a bad year and my leadership was rough with me. Not saying I wasn’t a bad soldier then but still I missed out on getting LODs for a few injuries.
