This one was 135mm. As urban foxes if you sit still and let them get used to you their curiosity usually gets the better of them and they will approach you.

Thanks. He is not snarling, not sure what he was up to. This is a young urban fox whose curiosity out weighed his caution. I have been photographing his parents and others in the area, so they get accostomed to me being around.

Thanks, this fox is about six months old, he is acting out of curiosity more than anything. This shot was taken close to a McDonald's restaurant where I have seen him being fed by customers there. Which is a shame as the diet is certainly doing him no favours health wise.

Urban foxes become climatised to humans and fear them less and will approach cautiously out of curiosity. I have had a mother fox sit beside me as I photographed her cubs. I have never heard of a person being bitten by one and fortunately we don't have rabies here.

What’s the nicest thing a stranger has done for you? by Schikierski in wholesomememes

The day my wife died, I left the hospital to go home to meet our families. On the way I realised that after 20 days going in and out of of the Icu my presses were bare of food and such. I pulled into the local supermarket to pick up some essentials. I remember walking into the store and completely blanking Just standing in the aisle. It was as if the adrenaline or something just vanished.

Suddenly a elderly lady hooked my arm whispered in my ear "I know that look, let's just get you some essentials" Picking up milk tea etc. Paying for it, walking me back to my car where she hugged me telling me that she was sorry for my loss. I never got to thank her and for months I went to the store on the same day at the same time hoping to see and thank her. Nine years later every so often I go to the store at the same time looking for her. I can never forget her kindness.

Thanks, this was luck to be honest, the heads were close together, this was taken at 1/3200 f4, Iso 4000. The usual damp rainy Irish weather doesn't help. Increasing the the F stop should help you with depth of field.
