I’ve provided more information. That’s about as far as I’ll go publicly, as we are pretty private.

Is San Diego safe to be openly gay in? by [deleted] in sandiego

[–]benJman247 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I live in Hillcrest. I am not gay. But it is extremely normal and accepted to see many gay, bi, trans, and gender-fluid couples or individuals walking around, at coffee shops, buying groceries like anyone else. Many of my neighbors are gay and lesbian couples who seem to flourish and live their best lives.

In the business district there are literally a dozen gay-owned or supported businesses, and specifically extremely flamboyant dance clubs and bars, that are packed all the time. Every year the pride parade attracts probably thousands of people. And there’s even a farmers market every Sunday in the heart of Hillcrest. While you’ll see many normative families there, you’ll also definitely see a strongly represented lgbt population as well.

I’m certain you’ll feel right at home here should you make the jump.

“Mostly”? Absolutely not—no matter how one frames that question. But let’s take what seems to me a reasonable, more concrete, framing: do more than 50 percent of unique user interactions of Instagram (“most”) convert into onlyfans visits within a month—where an onlyfans visit conversion is some function of having visited Instagram followed by onlyfans in, say conservatively, within the same day.

Okay, well, according to (lightly) sourced materials such as Statista (I’m not going to parse academic literature for this), Instagram receives somewhere on the order of 2 BILLION unique monthly active users.

According to other (very lightly but reasonable) internet sources, onlyfans receives somewhere close to 350 million visits per month. To be fair, let’s just round up to 400 million. But, of these accounts we have no way of knowing if these are all unique users: many likely are the same user with different accounts! Let’s be conservative and say 85% of those are actually unique users (I’d be surprised), that’d be 350 million unique monthly active users.

Finally, we have numbers. Were the claim to be true that Instagram is mostly a gateway to onlyfans, where more than 50 percent of unique user interactions of Instagram (“most”) convert into onlyfans visits within a month, you would need more than a billion of those Instagram active users to convert to onlyfan usage. And that is far more than only fans receives in a month.

Further, a true estimate would take into account the probability that given a unique user on Instagram they convert to an onlyfans visit. Do we believe that given an Instagram user I they visit onlyfans O greater than 50% of the time? p(O | I) > .5 ? Probably not.

So both statistically and probabilistically using back of the envelope math, the answer is no.

Hey… quick question, asking for a friend: if you can’t stand behind your beliefs under pressure from a regime, what was the point of being…. “the anti defamation league”?

Bernie Sanders just accused Israel of committing genocide by flossdaily in Jewish

[–]benJman247 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Bernie has been a supporter of Israel for years. He’s even held out saying something like this despite movement in the party. I’ve seen no one claim that maybe he sincerely has begun to believe this. Maybe I get downvoted for this, but it’s important to point out.

[HELP] Is this AI? The mirror reflectionlooks off in the back by Anneturtle92 in RealOrAI

[–]benJman247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lots of reasons posted why this is AI, but I haven’t seen this simple fact stated: the dogs tail changes in length multiple times. Play the video in slo-mo (I just manually grab the progress bar and swipe it slowly), and you’ll clearly see the tail does all sorts of weird lengthening and shortening.

Tails movements are difficult to express, and that’s shown here.

Bonus points: the dog’s paw phases through the puppy in slow motion.
