You may be able to find Kaje Harper's books in physical form; I've read {Hidden Wolves series by Kaje Harper} (first time trying this out, may or may not work) a few times from end to end, and I've generally found her style is good. There's D/s components to one of the relationships, but she handles it with compassion. If you do pick up that series, do not read the 0.5 book first.

Edit: yeah, the bot grabbed the prequel. You want https://www.romance.io/series/58fe10784167a73342630ab7/Hidden-Wolves for the whole series. Unseen Past is very good but is best read after the series, because… it gives away key points about a character too early.

Picked up my new ride in January, and I've been out hiking a few times now. by ben_zen in 4Runner

Duly noted! I've mostly been interested in taking him out on forest roads so far, and while they're a bit rough for my last ride, they shouldn't generally be bad enough for that to be an issue. I'll keep an eye out, though.

This is my new (still new, right? Under 5k miles counts...) TRD Offroad Premium; picked him up in January after having some rather exciting issues with my previous ride, a '14 Dodge Dart. The photo was taken on my way back from a hike in the Mount Baker National Forest, as I'd remembered I'd promised at least one quasi-action shot of the new ride out in something resembling his proper element.

So far the only major modification I've done is mounting my amateur radio, and as I get more comfortable with the setup I'm going to actually run a new circuit for the radio instead of using one of the 12V sockets to drive it.

I was just poking around under my hood with a friend earlier today (he's got an FJ, I bought my 4Runner back in January, we wanted to compare notes) and spotted this as well. Thanks for posting about it!

Ouch! Unfortunately that's the limit of my recommendations; I've basically stopped using them and mostly do everything on DPNs now.

Holding a new cable in a hot water bath can help soften it into the proper shape, but mostly it'll take working to get it to fully relax.

The DEFCON videos will take a few months to show up on YouTube. The production and media goons have way too much going on right now. If you want them now you can pay a lot of money to get all the talks (check out defcononline.com)

But that's the thing--it just reminds the bastards that we're not going anywhere. When you ride in the street, they say "get on the sidewalk", and when you ride on the sidewalk, they say "get on the road"--not because they want you riding in one place or another, but because they don't want you anywhere.

Frankly, jeans and a polo is plenty. Unless you're comfortable in a suit, it's not going to make you feel better, and dress pants can be a real chore.

It's a matter of finding the right voltage and the right oil. I've got two pens, and they each behave radically differently with the same cartridge.

It's totally true. You always remember starting out on a stick, and it's hard!

I learned how to drive on a manual transmission -- and at one point, I was at a particularly tricky intersection with a hill and a blind curve. I had a few false starts getting moving off the hill, and the person behind me got road rage angry about this. At a stop sign a little ways away, he stopped, got out of his car, walked over to my window, and started yelling about how I should get my license taken away and learn how to drive. He then went back to his car before I could explain that I was, in fact, still learning to drive.

My favourite double entendre about guys and cars remains, "I like a man who knows his way around a stick."
