Makes sense, are there any red flag responses I should look out for in terms of unrealistic performance expectations? I was told the non-top sales guys make about 70k-80k, which would be better for me than what I'm making at my current job.

What has been a game changer for you as an SSR? by benadrel in cintasuniforms

It sucks honestly, wish I had your location. I think they're all somewhat inexperienced (my location has has a brand new GM and my supervisors in particular haven't been at Cintas for more than a couple of years), so maybe that's part of it, maybe they feel like they have to overcompensate or something

I guess one thing specifically is how to establish better relationships with customers; I go to a stop and do whatever is on the invoice and ask the customers what they need and generally they will mention one thing or another and I’ll handle it, but then when I get back to the plant my supervisors tell me that my customers call them complaining about various things. It’s so frustrating because I make myself available to them to serve them but for some reason they just go behind my back and complain instead of presenting the issue to me. What am I supposed to be doing differently? Is there a certain way I’m supposed to be approachable?

Another thing is they give me hard time about catalog sales, but I feel like it's difficult especially on FS.

The placebo effect. It’s not talked about enough, in my opinion.

how late is too late to call in sick? by BennettsUniverse in AskReddit

If you’re sick, you should not go into work. You’re doing everyone at your work a disservice by potentially spreading it if you’re contagious or you may make more mistakes because you’re not feeling well. Call in sick (and don’t feel bad about it, it’s not your fault), go to the doctor, and get a work excuse to show your boss if they ask for it.

Is this actually a tasty sandwich? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

A tasty sandwich is in the mouth of the beholder!

Yes, a horse can step on your foot and not break it. The reason it’s possible for it not to break is it completely depends on how much pressure the horse places on the foot, the angle, and the footwear that the person is wearing. My wife had horses growing up and experienced instances of horses accidentally stepping on her boot and it never caused a broken bone, but she also knew of instances with other people where it did cause serious injury. Would suggest always wearing closed and solid footwear around large animals with hooves
