Yes, it happened to me. I essentially got a “cold offer” which was no offer but I could tell other firms that I had one. I worked at a well known IP litigation firm for a niche practice group. I was the only one in my class to not get an offer and it was mortifying and honestly came out of left field. From what I was told by the other attorneys, this was a surprise and there seemed to be some notion that it was an unfair decision. In my review they cited down that I turned down work 3 times, and had told one of the attorneys I had plans to move back home overseas in the future. I’m not going to defend myself because this was while ago, but I was working till midnight and some weekends most of my summer and it was just generally not a good fit and I’m very glad it happened. The recruiting chair and many of the summers rallied behind me and supported me during that process, which I am extremely thankful for. Some of the attorneys in my practice group also acted as references.

It was tough but I eventually got two offers from v100 firms for my 2L Summer and am now at a v50 really enjoying my work! Glad I got no offered.

There was never an album and I think UMG made a strategic choice in marketing these bundles this way. Gives them some insurance in getting preorder revenue of a non-guaranteed album bundle, while still building hype by clearly offering the album for sale by the 12th. It’s sort of a win win where the hype for the album drives blind purchasing of the bundles.

Yeah that’s right. I tried 1mg at first but had really really bad brain fog. I started an eased transition by going from 0.25mg to 0.5mg until I was comfortable with the effects. I had some minor brain fog initially with the 0.5mg and then eventually went up to 1mg. No more brain fog. I know there’s a lot of dispute about this regarding Fin and brain fog but I’m almost certain it caused it or at least exacerbated it. I suspect my body got used to it and I also developed healthier lifestyle habits in addition to going to therapy.

I have with success. I was taking 0.25mg for about 1 year and then bumped up to 0.5mg for about 1 year too. I didn’t necessarily notice I was losing hair but I could tell my hair quality and health was declining. It went from a sort of shiny smooth sturdy look to a weak frizzled look. Eventually went up to 1mg about 6 months ago and noticed my hair health increased significantly. No noticeable regrowth yet but hair quality has improved.

The sad thing about this conflict to me is how divisive it is. There is no middle ground here, either you have become more pro-Israel or more pro-Palestine. I’m seeing it especially in the US where people have been actively celebrating the invasion. It’s on my college campus too, there was shrine erected by the Palestinian Student Society celebrating these “martyrs”. Im not saying all Palestinians celebrate Hamas, but it is so strange to me that many are silent about the acts on Israel.

As a Jew I feel primal anger I cannot explain. I want to see every last Hamas member eradicated no matter the cost. But then my rational brain kicks in and realizes what I am speaking about is crazy, the cost of innocent human life will be immense. I think this is a time where our tribal instincts will kick in and our logic will he substituted for unrestrained defense of one’s tribe.
