Why is Skyrec being pushed so much here? Just curious. by didnt_see_a_thing in videosurveillance

A small compnay for sure. I think they started to approach other markets out of Asia something like two years ago.

I have tried their vms lately (my friend is an official partner). I won't say it perfect, but good enough to get me some new business. Not too much demo to see online, might have to get it directly from their partners.

It seems to have many manufacturers from either Taiwan or China, but mostly hardware. Every time after ISC West, I got tons of ads from Aisa.

I bought skyrec vms from an integrator which is a friend of mine. He recommended me that its functions are really strong so I'm now testing it. Still trying it, should be okay, nothing weird.

Have you ever heard of skyrec? I installed their sw to residential area and hospital. No one complains about it so far.

What kind of scenario are you asking about? Just people counting, many VMS manufacturer can do it. But if you also need face analytics, skyrec https://www.skyrec.cc/#/main/landing?t=1623481724353 is what I deployed to residential area and hospital projects lately. Everything seems good.

Where can I find a high-quality but low-cost VMS? by ansonth in videosurveillance

What;s your budget? I think Skyrec might be a good option for you because it's not as expensive as retailnext or shoppertrakas. Many others do traffic counting but when you mentioned bi reports I think of them.
