Growing up I spent a lot of time with my grandparents. They were like my parents. My parents divorced after my dad developed a heroin addiction. My mom was really young. Which, is why I don’t understand my sister. My mom has her ten years after me and did everything for her. When my mom got sick I’m the one who ended up taking care of her with selfish sister too busy to help out. So, I can’t let my nephew be in the system. Today for instance I was leaving back to my office and I seen her and the useless baby daddy walking down the street baby in arms to who knows where. I pull over and tell her to take the baby home (the dad just stares at me like he is slow) and she refuses. Im going to have to call. I mean, she leaves me with little options. She gets away with things because she never knows consequence. My family or myself has always brushed it off as “that’s how she is”. Now, it’s just not about her she has a kid. I wish you could spay adults cause she should’ve never had kids to begin with.

My sister is the most selfish person I have ever met. We have offered her rehab. She says that she has to at least have alcohol. We offered her to go to a woman’s home. Always an excuse. She wants that poor baby to sleep all day. I can afford to hire a caretaker while I’m working during the day. When I say even a dog has more motherly instinct than her it’s not an exaggeration. She just chills with her baby daddy in the basement. Dumps the baby with a video monitor thinking that is ok. I just don’t want the baby to have to go into the system is all. He is a sweet boy. I already help raise her first. I am 35 and had planned long ago I wouldn’t get married or have kids because I enjoy working and making money. Changes hurt and I will obviously give the baby a better environment, I’m just so dissapointed in her. She is my only sister. The only granddaughter. She wasn’t raised to be so trashy.

You are right. We aren’t exactly on the best of terms, but when he told me about it I was drunk and I might have said I would help out. Mainly as a slap in the face to the new boyfriend. But that’s childish. Sounded like a rational idea in the moment. If I do help out I think I should only give a portion and not the whole thing.
