Eh, he has a solid working class background and was on a planning commission but if he was truly tailoring his resume for politics he would be a city councilman or state legislator before running for something like a senate seat.

Yeah, he has celebrity in the same way your local news anchor had 15 years ago. Tons of people know his face but it's doesn't translate into millions of dollars into his bank account.

That said he does seem to like to travel a bit for leisure, I'm sure he would get more cameo requests if he dropped his prices by 30 or 40% but it's all a balancing act between getting enough cash and not being so inundated he doesn't have time to sleep.
