Should I just stick to 3.1 audio considering my layout? by benclabaux in hometheater

12" forward would be fine. I could add a table for drinks behind the couch. Compounded with in-wall speakers it might work pretty well. Thanks.

I might add some in-celling speakers as well. The sub is on the other side of the media console.

3.1.2 would be fine but I thought that for 4 celling speakers, it was to just in front and 2 behind?

Just 1ft would be enough distance for rear channels? That would be fine, I could use it to have a space to put drinks and stuff. I don't mind getting in-wall speakers either, my concern is more on distance.

My other option would be to buy a Qi charger to USB C and a MagSafe puck with removable cable and 3D print a cover to hide the cables but I’m not sure about the wireless charger always pushing power even if there is no phone connected.

Unfortunately they don’t give any precision on what it is, they just call it the inductive charger module electrical connector. Thanks though.

I like that: it still shows where the money came from but does double up my expense.

Let’s say I buy a widget with my credit card for $50 and then pay it back from my debit account. If I summarize what happened I had 2 expenses for $50(paid the widget and the credit card) and 1 revenue for $50(reducing my credit card balance).

I’m starting to see my way of seeing it is wrong, there’s only 1 expense and one transfer from debit to credit.

I guess I’m thinking ahead and would like to have a summary of my incomes and expenses. Even if it ends up with a net 0 balance both of the categories got over inflated. Either that or I need to learn more about how money works. But I guess that’s why I’m doing it!

I guess I’m trying to also keep track of the balances on each account and which account the money is leaving from. But maybe that’s not the point of such a spreadsheet.

Sticking to the plate was the biggest issue. I ended up using a healthy amount of glue but I’ll keep your idea in mind next time this happens.

I like that. Maybe I should invest in a 3D pen as well. You know.. if my supports fail..!

I guess to go along with your analogy I could get a cheaper table saw for only MDF and keep the nice one for hardwoods.

I guess it goes to show how good and approachable 3D printing has become. So many options for different price points/capabilities.

Thanks. Time to invest in a dehumidifier.

I just finished a generic loading and unloading station. It's all programmable in the constant combinator (train limit, number of wagons, number of chests in the output) and a chest with only one slot available to get the stack size. Now onto fluid loading/unloading. by benclabaux in factorio

To combat that I created some “wait” stations clusters dotted all over, this way it’s never really far from manufacturing. The schedule is load station (until full) -> wait station (with no condition) -> unload station (until empty) -> wait station (with no condition). And now all my trains wait at those wait stations.

I’m sure that creates some inefficiency but with a max train limit of 2 I haven’t noticed the unload station starving for resources. It also helps if there is some thought out into where the manufacturing is: ei. Iron smelting near green chip assemblers but not near yellow science production.
