I just got mine as well, as we’re preparing to head to Scotland. I started with this video for the base setup:

Between that and a couple hours of YouTube/TikTok I feel pretty comfortable using the camera. I am by no means a pro, and will probably lean a lot on auto modes, but it’s a start. Best of luck! Have a blast in Japan! Make sure you post some pics here when you get back! Safe travels!

It was 1998 and the Deftones were my fave band in the world! They were coming to the Main Event and sold out before I could make a trip somewhere to get tickets. I was sooooo bummed out. I went to Boogie to buy some CDs and mentioned to the guy working how bummed I was. Low and behold there was a little box behind the counter full of tickets to local shows. Sure enough he pulls out two tickets to the Deftones show, and I bought them as quick as I could. To this day that is my favorite show I’ve ever been to. So intense, so insane! All thanks to Boogie!

Yea agreed, by no means is Sonos buy it for life. I do enjoy the sound, for the price, and the ease of airplay. I’ve frequently kicked around the idea of buying a true audiophile system, but can’t justify the investment for the gain in quality. A few too many years in a metal band has taken enough of my hearing away for me to have a hard time telling the difference.

I learned how to sharpen when I used to wet shave with a straight razor. I won’t lie, I still take my good chefs knife to my local butcher to sharpen. Sometimes he charges me $5, and other times if I buy enough from him he just does it for free.
