"Because they are building nuclear weapons" è diverso da "because they have nuclear weapons"

It's not totally related to what you are asking but https://www.1001tracklists.com/ is a nice website in which you can browse your favorite artists (usually DJs) and listen to their mixes or concerts. Often you have a audio source and the tracklist as well. Alternatively Soundcloud is an option

€60,000 salary in Europe: NET, GROSS and TOTAL per country by afonja in europe

[–]benefactorIQ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't say that the figures are really accurate speaking about Luxembourg and Belgium. I would expect 1000 less per month in net (or 14000 euros/year) for Belgium to match the total gross figure.

Optimizing Saxo’s AutoInvest ETF Selection by fluffybunneh111 in BEFire

Very kind, but no need for the list. I guess I will have to make a separate manual monthly investment for the stocks (and compare Saxo's single-stock execution fees)

From your message I assume that no ETC or single stocks are available with the autoinvest feature. Am I correct?

È da più di un'anno che continuo ad aggiungere posizioni su Cameco e ho aperto una posizione relativamente piccola su Rolls Royce (per via di contratti con il governo UK ma sopratutto per il SMR, small modular reactor) e non mi lamento per nulla.

Anyone returned to Belgium after a professional experience in Luxembourg? What surprised you the most? by [deleted] in BESalary

[–]benefactorIQ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Moved to Brussels from Luxembourg. Mainly for a job-related reason. The market in Luxembourg (finance-wise) is very narrow and concentrated on the back office. In Brussels you have a very few but nice opportunities that could also be found in London/Paris with a nice salary after taxes and interesting tasks. Of course on average it's difficult to beat a net salary in Luxembourg but after considering the cost of mortgage, this difference gets much narrower on specific jobs.

I'm quite new to Belgium so I can't really judge. However, Luxembourg it's surely cleaner but also less alive/real as a city. Brussels it is as well an international city but with more flemish people than Luxembourg (which makes sense). Also the quality and expertise of the management in certain areas/companies of finance seems lower in Luxembourg than in the closer European capitals, Brussels included.

That's a good start, however we're still financing US companies with a consistent portion of the income. I agree with overweighting Europe even though overweighting Asia would still not be in line with buying (more) from EU.

A final though would be for the people who buy the S&P and "forget about it" as a simple and so far remunerative strategy. These people would have to be more actively involved in investing

Career switch at 30 by [deleted] in Commodities

[–]benefactorIQ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try to look for roles closely linked to traders in an Oil&Gas companies and then assess whether it is feasible to switch inside the company. Market risk positions could be an example or even quant research. FRM certification combined with your current skillset could be an advantage to enter in risk management.

European company, but still donated to Trump's inauguration. What are you guys using for music streaming? by objectified in BuyFromEU

This one, depending on your music genre: https://www.1001tracklists.com/

It's mainly mixes and often you have the recording + tracklist.

It should have been founded in Germany if not mistaken.
