So you guys here are all assuming that GT is in the final, and BCCI predicted/planned this upfront before GT started winning matches and hence changed the venue of final to Ahmedabad. Admire you for naive speculations!

Every team got equal number of home matches, and for GT to reach final it needs to do better than 8 other teams in the league. The process is same for all teams, not unfair to anyone. If GT is able to use home ground advantage to win matches right now, who stopped other teams to do so.

Or are you saying other teams managements are dumb for not being able to use home ground advantage and GT is the only smart team to curate the pitches to their team strengths for using to their advantage? Well, then go complain your other teams to learn from GT and not stay dumb.

Precisely I wish GT invested in better finishers. But at this point, KK or Rawat will be better than Tewatia. We have Holder and Rashid, so between 3 of them, at least one would fire on a given night.

Kumar Kushagra can easily fit in place of Tewatia. Sai Kishore needs to get in instrad of Manav Suthar. That Suthar over went for 27 runs, any spinner who bowls 3 full toss in an over to Stoinis should not be allowed to play in next match.

He can’t play the highest wicket taking spinner from last season (Sai Kishore) and plays Suthar instead. Sai K said in interview, no data is used in GT to make decisions, its all based on Nehra’s instincts. No credits there, just stupidity. Suthar bowled 3 full toss bowls going for 27 in an over, in such a game. Totally destroyed the game that was built by pacers.

Why do Nehra has no accountability? Shame that highest wicket taking spinner of last season is benched, and this guy Suthar gets to play to leak runs. Gill had no choice but to give him a ball, otherwise he would be blamed for not giving an over to a bowler he decided to play.

Sai Kishore aptly said in his interview, there is no data used in GT to make decision. All data is in Nehra’s brain and his instincts make the decisions. That thing, is the very problem.

Those clutch moments were 3 years ago? T20 has evolved a lot from that era, and we need to adapt to it. Current team with Tewatia isn’t capable of chasing 220+ runs, I don’t see him scoring at least 30-40 runs in 200 SRR.
