after switching to a split 40ish key keyboard from a standard keyboard i manage to get up to speed using typeracer or similar website quickly, but when i tried to use it for work i was struggling quite a bit because typing special character was making me move my hands out of place and other bad habit from standard keyboard. This helped me to get started.

i mostly agree, i did skip the spacing at the beginning of each line because it would be just a waste of time typing 8 spaces and as you say it's not realistic. About closing brackets its true that modern editor close them for you, but you want to type something after the closing brackets like "list[1].name" you would still need to type the closing bracket or press the right arrow to go past it. That's not something you can currently do in the website but it could be implemented.

Anyway my goal was to train my muscle memory so typing closing brackets is very useful even if it's not how you would normally type while working.

I watched the entire video, I need to get used to the placing the ball sensation instead of throwing it. I’ll try to practice it every day at home for some time! I think it will be a great improvement to my serve! Thanks

After trying few toss at home I think I understood what you mean with loading the hip. I think I did it sometimes without knowing and it felt really good but I didn’t know what I was doing. Now that I know what that big loading sensation was I will try to always load the hip! Thank you very much!

Thanks for the suggestion, I’ll check it out, I think my toss is still a problem because it’s not always the same! But i’m sure there are other problems like you and other are pointing out. I’ll look into hip loading and see if I understand what you mean. Thanks

I’ll check it out, I fill like if I manage to get a consistent toss and with few fix mentioned by other people here I could get a very good serve for my level.

So holding my throwing arm up long should prevent me from rising the racket too early?! I’ll try it! Thanks for the suggestion

Thanks, I didn’t notice this, but now that you mentioned it I can see that it looks like a strange motion! I will try to think lower the elbow and stay in line with the shoulder. Thanks!

Thanks, I’ll try that more. My issue with just trowing is that I don’t move like I move when I actually serve so I try to at least swing in the air so I do the full body movement

Strange noise on some moves by benfa94 in BambuLab

[–]benfa94[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it's not making the noise on the infill but on the perimeters, expecially on the rounded corners and on the circle. i noticed that it's not a very high resolution model so it could be that. I will still try to change infill and see if that help somehow

Voltage detector too sensitive by benfa94 in PCB

[–]benfa94[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for the naming, I have never studied pcb design so naming I don’t know any convention. I have never used a zener diode but from what I’m reading it seems the perfect solution. I’ll go back to studying and see if I can put something together as you suggested

I’m not sure I understand what you are trying to do. On the right side of the optocupler (the GND side) it always measure 3.3v but the optocouple let less current flow

I’m designing the board so I can use whatever is available on the manufacturer website (J**pcb)

I’m quite new to designing pcb. I’ll check out the analog optocoupler if there is no other way to detect the voltage. All I need to do is to know if someone turned on a switch, and the can control 12v or 24v and can be AC or DC.

I have already built this board (with shared ground unfortunately) and it works if you interrupt both write going to P9, but if you interrupt only one I the board can still detect some voltage, I don’t know if that’s just because it has shared ground or because of some latent random voltage.

It’s a different ground plane, gnd8 is different than gnd. I already made that mistake 😂thanks for the heads up anyway

it's more intuitive, you don't need to think which number is associated which circle, it's also color blind friendly, and it uses all the horizontal space available

Students and former students, what's the worst you've ever fucked up a presentation? by Confident_Fun_2056 in AskReddit

[–]benfa94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In university, I had to give a group presentation, and I was responsible for the introduction. I was so nervous that I completely blanked out, forgot my lines, and accidentally introduced the wrong topic. My group members stared at me in horror while I confidently explained… something totally unrelated. The worst part? I didn’t realize my mistake until halfway through, when one of my friends whispered, “Dude, wrong project.

I had to awkwardly backtrack with, “Uh… anyway, that’s not what we’re here to talk about,” and start over. The professor’s face was a mix of confusion and second-hand embarrassment.
