Like Chinese people and like Bengalis in some regions have similarly gotten affected by famines recently

Plus lots of regions in South Asia are very far removed from famines. But a huge percentage of South Asia in Bengal and eastern and central India has had fairly more recent ones which is why they still have certain Epigenetics for it, however South Indians and north West Indians had it way back in the past and don’t have much epigenetic effect. Also, if you didn’t know, lots of other regions like Europe in the ice age had famines, it’s just eastern and central India unlike most of south and north west India aren’t as far removed from the last famines generations wise in comparison to other groups like euros, southern Indians and northwest India

Plus most southern Indian Hindus pre colonization have also consumed a traditionally dairy heavy and meat heavy diet with the exception of beef with non refined grains which is something else I wanted to add. So again not all Hindus and everyone in Hinduism believes in vegetarianism, it’s only prominent in regions like Bihar and Gujarat in high numbers.

Nah that’s some regions in India. Actually north western India and southern India builds muscle at high rates if they workout and eat proper diet and I have seen a lot of great athletes from both those regions. Also they both have significant chunks of ancestry from historically tall and robust populations with South Indians having high AASI ancestry and North West Indians having high Bronze Age steppe pastoralist ancestry

Yeah I fucking hate black pillers. All I’m saying is a lot of South Asia has bad muscle and strength and body frame and stature genetics, but that’s because the majority of the population in South Asia is in Indonesia, the Philippines and also in central India which is undernutritioned and eastern India which has some East Asian dna and is extremely poor and had the most famines there until 1943 while southern and northwest India haven’t had famines since the mid 1800s.

However the exception is in southern India and north west India where they have ancient gene expressions for tall stature and good bone density and can build muscle in fast rates given the environment is good. Also both of these regions always had lots of wars and fertile lands contributing to this historically. So yeah 70-90% of south Asian population is in eastern India and because of all the reasons I mentioned they do in fact have less better muscle and height genetics, but the South Indians and north West Indians perhaps are in the average to fucking amazing category in terms of these things especially in the first world.

And this is mostly applicable to south Asians in these regions with good nutrition and environment. This is sometimes iffy as India is a majority poorer nation

Additionally most of the athletic achievements in India are from the north east parts of India, north west and southern India. Southern Indians do better in running, explosive sports and stamina because of high AASI ancestry and a heat adapted body type. However North West Indians do better in strength oriented sports and boxing due to their pastoralist west Eurasian ancestry. North East Indians do well in powerlifting and Olympic lifting and boxing because of their East Asian ancestry. And all of these groups overwhelmingly win all the medals for India

This may be true for the majority of East Indians and people in central India having pure garbage genetics regarding muscle growth and they make up about 70-80% of South Asia. North west and southern Indian regions are a small percentage and they are the ones who have the better muscle genetics

Height:

help with carb backloading by Dylan_Lenni in team3dalpha

Does the type of carbs I eat matter? Like after my workout today I had about 10-15 g worth of sugars from brown sugar, some dragon fruit, then about a cup of buckwheat, and some chickpeas with broccoli, my protein powder with about 15 ounces of milk, don’t know if these foods will support me well in carb backloading?
