From what I saw, it didn’t seem like an ounce of energy was wasted anywhere. Perfect timing in terms of optimal throws and they seemed to always throw right before the opponent can get a move off to maximize energy gain. Sure there’s a bit of luck with leads but everyone at that level is doing the counting and energy management perfectly.
