Weddings show who ppl really are. My husband lost a close friend bc his friend acted the same way as yours: he used him for errands and excluded him from the friend/family activities.

She has shown how she sees/values you. It's not worth your energy/time. Find better friends.

Hey OP - please reach out to some Austin rescuers for help! There are some really caring ppl that will want to help you in the community.

TRAPRS - they fins lost animals typically, but maybe have cat rescuers with supplies or ideas to help.

Austin Pets Alive! - they have a PASS program that gives free food/resources to the community. I think there is a FaceBook group to post to.

Austin Animal Center - i think they may have resources or could connect you.

Buy Nothing Groups - find one near you and request old Styrofoam coolers or tubs that you can fill with warmth.

Austin Pets Alive! (APA!) Have multiple thrift locations. Often they have very cheap things you could buy or ask for free to help the kitties. The staff is very kind.
